  1. are you willing to sell the complete loom ??
  2. hey old timer.. welcome to the world of 28
  3. seems like latter model s2 r33 and R34 seem to get less gains than the others.. few people have xperienced this in the past. Could be something to do with the slightly different VVT setup in the newer cars. But there are plenty of older threads on it.
  4. a) then get something cheap and put a fast engine in it for the "play car".. depends how much money you have and what you want to do with it. if you want a 350Z just get one, but may cost a mild fortune to modify that properly.
  5. not for an engine swap atm.. i just need to get a block from my old place to my new place. Thats what we used last time, but new place don't have rafters in the garage to lift it back out again i'll keep that in mind though for the future though
  6. cheers brodda.. i will give them a try.
  7. Hi, Does anybody know a place where you can hire (preferably), or maybe even buy an engine crane? I think you can get cheapies for around $500. Preferably Goldcoast, but also maybe Brisbane if there is nothing down here. Anybody know? cheers..

its definitely got *bling*. Those del Sol's can go ok with a few mods.. fairly rare too.
  9. oh well - good stuff .. good to see the cops doing their work. Well gives heed to the feeling that quite a few of the very top shelf cars around are profits from ill-gotten means. Don't have much respect for those that don't buy their own cars with their own money
  10. yeah.. thats what happened with Palm when they fixed my car Contact them.. they do a good job to boot.. just dont be expecting it that soon..
  11. yeah, expensive cars are only good for the ego.. not the wallet thats why i sold the whale.. just want something i can thrash and not worry about so much. you won't regret it in the end...
  12. not losing much.. hehe
  13. yeah..havent had too much time for whoring myself.. oh well..
  14. One of these "where is he now??" type moments eh?
  15. noo... didn't you go through all this before and decide you *weren't* going to sell it though? what else you thinking of getting?
  16. haha.. true, does get boring around the 2nd year mark..
  17. do a search in forced induction.. been some conversation on this already..
  18. oiled pods are a stupid idea.. Don't really know what they are thinking - must be because they have a thing against AFM's. "Self cleaning" my ass.. go get a decent non-oiled type such as the Blitz LM.. or HKS. You'll never experience that problem again.
  19. its not hard to get traction with a boat on the ground.. but rb20det's are a bit too slow on the pickup..
  20. err.. yeah, i sold a few months back a perfectly good rb30 manual box for $170... ba... autos are boring after a while.. trust me, I've had both Just change the diff for same results. You'll find most of the extra acceleration in an auto is the better ratios. Not if you can find a very good condition car, that just happens to be auto. Autos are a few $k cheaper on average, so why should the gearing type be a concern? Manuals have better control on both the twisties, and the track as well.
  21. Well it should cost you.. ~$600 for decent condition R32 manual gearbox ~$400 for a clutch kit ~$50 for a manual flywheel ~maybe $100 for clutch slave + master cylinders ~maybe $100 for manual tailshaft ~pedals + misc: $100 Total: ~$1350 + labour (either DIY if you are proficient or a few hundred for somebody else to do it) If you can pickup a manual halfcut for $2500 and flog off the engine and brakes to somebody for $1200 thats one way to get everything you need at a good price
  22. or.. this will fix his pointless one sentence childish comments quite effectively. .. http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/pr...=ignore&u=12439
  23. 0.8mm was always good for me
  24. there is a wanted section -> which may get you what you are after much quicker. erm.. did the guard rail run out onto the road did it??
  25. maybe its the same as many of the states in Oz where you have to return the plates to their transport office to be destroyed?
