[R33 GTR coolant leaking]

I would suggest replacing all off the heater hoses under the plenum. They're all probably the same age, and all about to leak.

I've fitted JSAI N1 skirts to a gtst, as with all their products they fit spot on

Award Diff and Gear are spoken quite well about here. I've not had a gearbox rebuilt, however the turnaround and advice with my Nismo diff they put together for me was fantastic.

They are great on the phone too, give them a bell in the morning

I've been incredibly lazy with updating this and I'm sorry!

I've been up to a few things, like driving the car servicing it and installing my Nismo 1.5 Diff, see below, picture heavy as always!

Along with the diff i installed a new sub frame with fresh bushes and weld in reinforcement plates which makes the rear end feel much more stable.

Started by jacking up the car and dropping this big old slab of fun out of the back..



I then unbolted all of the arms from the subframe, and carried them over to the new one and bolted them on.



I left all the bolts on the hub side done up which saved a bit of time.

From there I filled up the diff with oil



..and bolted up the ABS sensors

aaand finished up by bolting the biff in as well as the shafts



This was the remainder:



I then helped my mate install a turbo back exhaust on his R32. Of course the "bolt on" just-jap was 80mm too long and needed to be cut and shortened but it was a good laugh..



All in all a pretty good day!

R34 GT with a set of coilovers, swaybars and a mechanical LSD would be a bloody fun, cheap and reliable little thrash about lol

Throughout the 4 years until you get your fulls you can save up for something else too

Buy what you want, just don't set unrealistic expectations for power and/o re-sale value. Even though they're gutless they're still a great car to drive.

Also don't consider turbo-ing it when you get off your P's either, 100's of threads on here why not to also.

I have nismo ones, because they came with my car. GKtech sell them in a couple of colours (not locking) or you can get some from wheel/tyre shops.
 

In terms of lock nuts, these are pretty popular and in all the upgarages i went to in japan if that means anything

You have all the right parts for the car to keep itself well and truly cool.

Sounds like it needs a good bleed so start with that.

Take a quick look at the RB25DE+T threads here;

That would be an "ok" bunch of parts on a DET engine.. however with a DE+T engine with that setup and you've got a fireball on your hands.

Literally buy stock DET parts from facebook/forum and slap them on. Or sell and buy GTT as suggested
