  1. This is for a R33 RB25DET Engine, obviously you can use the vehicle search in the top to adjust this to what you're actually looking for however I'm not 100% sure what you drive, so i guessed R33 as it's the most common :)

    You can move up and down pages/levels to see different hoses and get the ones you need, the codes in the image correspond to the table below with full nissan part numbers.

    I found it handy to print these off and use a highlighter to find the bits I needed and then plug all the numbers into a website like amayama.com to order them as I've had good luck with them recently.

    There looks to be a turbo line there - (banjo fitting) - You'll probably find it easier/cheaper to replace that with a braided item.

    Too right mate.

    In saying that, it's a good chance to do it once and do it right as well as clean up and paint a few other things that are otherwise a bit of a pain to get to.

    Hoses do perish.  Make sure you have reasonably fresh fuel hoses too.  My 33 developed a pinhole in the pressure feed to the rail, about 2 months after it came off the boat.  Could have ended in a flaming mess on the roadside.  On inspection, there was a bulge in that pinhole area and it just gave way.

    They sure do! I've got new fuel line and a filter to replace all of the fuel lines in the engine bay while it's all apart.. Cheap and simple maintenance while it's all apart anyway

    Been doing a little bit of work here and there on the car. I've since replaced the radiator with a thicker alloy radiator and while I was in there replaced the GKTech fan with a brand new Nissan item, soooo much quieter.

    Which was an absolute blast, highly recommend it! This was an awesome time to really put the Nismo diff and latest suspension bits to the test. The car was a beauty to drive, no issues at all and had no problem both gripping and sliding all day.

    Drove it to the track, thrashed it and drove it home.. Can't ask for more than that!

    Life was good! Until i went for a quiet drive one rainy night when suddenly I could smell that hot steamy coolant smell. Both stock, and my aftermarket water temp gauges hadn't moved, but I wanted to be sure so I pulled over and good thing I did, a small hose from the inlet manifold to the oil cooler had a pinhole leak and was leaking coolant.

    Turned off the car and got a mate to come rescue me with a trailer and put it in the garage.

    At this stage I'm working through replacing every rubber hose under the intake manifold with genuine Nissan parts which yes is expensive, but really is the best way to go about it. I've got all 14 or so rubber hoses with new metal fittings and stainless clamps for the whole lot. I'm also going to replace everything else that's under there, don't want to go back under the intake unless I really have to.

    Check out the difference between a new, and the old hoses!

  5. Echoing what's above, I used a mamba/kinugawa kit back a couple of years ago now and it "worked" but wasn't the best. While it didn't leak or really let me down, the lengths didn't really match up with my setup which made it a bit of a messy install.

    +1 for buying your own fittings and lines. It's cheaper, generally easier, and you can pick the fittings/colours if you're into that too.

  6. If you un-plug it you can get a socket/ring spanner over it - Take the filter off too for some more room.

    There's not a whole lot of room so you'll have to be a little creative but it shouldn't be too difficult. Perhaps go from underneath if you can get the car up on some stands/wheels

    It is the same across most of the Nissans of it's age.

    It screws into the side of the oil filter block, look for a brassy/gold cylinder next to the oil filter with a big yellow plug you can't miss it.

    Hello!

    Up for sale is my R34 GTT

    I’ve considered selling this a couple times now, it’s a great car and it’s never let me down but I feel like it’s time to move on and get something a little more practical for road trips and skiing holidays.

    I have had the timing belt and water pump done which included a genuine Nissan timing kit including Nissan belt, seals pulleys and water pump, While this was all apart, an OS Giken adjustable cam gear was installed as well as a new OEM thermostat.

    The car has approx 160,000km’s on it in total. The car currently has a Nismo dash in it which reads less however, i'm just being honest.

    The last service was done by me around 1000km ago which included
