Fuel Injector Choice For Rb25
hairdryer33 replied to hairdryer33's topic in Forced Induction Performance
I did originally, and had an adaptor, but have gone back to stock for now. When I upgrade, I will be using an aftermarket fpr again. I was using an aftermarket one to bump the fuel pressure up. All good -

Made a small bracket to mount off strut tower. Have gone back to stock fpr for now. Rb25 are high impedance right? -

Fuel Injector Choice For Rb25

Do the rails come in one size or is there different sized ones for different injectors? Do I need low or high impedance -
Ive got a greddy plenum running stock injectors, im just wondering what my options are if I swap the fuel rail to top feed injectors? What types will fit xr6t etc? After something to make around 300rwkw

I guess not, people still make power with log manifolds so just make one up see how it goes? Nothing to loose?

To suit both, just need to make the right cut. I can weld one in, but just throw a catch can in, better all round. -

45psi base. Thing is, first cold start is shit as any throttle input it runs even rougher and sometimes stalls and will crank over for about 15 seconds then fire like its flooded! Fuel pump appears to work fine as its holding 10.4 afrs at full throttle. Ive changed afm cas tps ecu fpr and still doing it. Does it occasionally between 2nd and 3rd shits where I have to back off coast for a bit and re apply throttle to run smooth again

Ive used stock and now turbosmart fpr still doing it

Its not the steel line as its the same diameter both ends, also why would my first stock turbo have two different sized banjo holes and the turbo was supplied and working with two banjos which are smaller in size and also the v4 as opposed to v3 on the casting?

Was the stock turbo my first one had something like v3 now this one has v4 on the comp housing. Its a hard steel line, stock set up just the one before had two different sized banjos and the set up has two the same. Has anyone got pics
