It may just be genius, thieves will never suspect speaker wire belonging to the alarm system.. You've gotta ask yourself, was it ever stolen?

I won't mention who did the work for the previous owner but holy shit it was poor!
This is EXACTLY how people stay in business performing such shitty work...

Given this is a track car, just make it flow well and not be too loud. Wanna be able to hear the bearing knock as soon as possible.
Dunno about bigger power GT-Rs, but on my shit box Silvia we lost power down low and didn't start seeing it come back til the upper RPM limit when testing side exit.
Use whatever shit you have to make it as cheap as possible.
Given this is a track car... it should always be in the upper rpm range....

Maybe call or email MCA, they have quite good customer service I hear.

I feel like it would be easier to go the other way, I've seen plenty of headunits with incorporated gauges, plus the a/c slot isn't rectangular so would need modification to fit the headunit.

That's why it's called a niche, not everyone has to love it, and genuine are probably so expensive they don't need (nor want) everyone to buy it. People put these on Lamborghini's ffs, so their target audience is people with more money than brains, and sadly those type of people will never die off.

That's the part. I helped grind the end off and drive the rest out of an R33 the other day. Good riddance. Stupid f**king design on Nissan's behalf. There are a dozen better ways they could have done it (including never putting HICAS on in the first place!)
Ugh...I really need to do this

Looks nice, but the OCD in me would prefer that chrome bezel to be colour matched to the wheel.

Nismo pen anyone?

I've never used one but here is an option, maybe, depends on cost though.
I always wondered about the legalities of such a business, cool idea though. I miss the days of servicing my car on the street in Elizabeth Bay getting death stares from all the hoity toity locals

I feel like we should sack the lot of them and start again!
I was calling for this with the non-binding, $100+M plebiscite, and it's gone even more downhill from there.
How do we get this ball rolling? Petition the Governor-General?

Why are they all 'Grand'?
I just can't connect the dots to the Vizier, larceny, or Rio.
Maybe its because ...no matter what the problem...its gunna take many multiples of a grand to fix it? But they use Grand, not 'Many Grand'....so still don't know.
It's actually "Gran" not "Grand" I think perhaps they were initially designed for old ladies since they're so slow.

Who mentioned 100kW?

Mate. Racing > Turbo/Sports
Only if it is part of the main acronym particularly as this is where they use the inverse alphabetic relationship, i.e.:
- R > -T, S or T (think GTR vs GTS-T, GTS, GTT), however post dash, is direct alphabetic relationship:
- -T > -R
it's very complicated math, taught out of the reclusive monastery atop mount Fuji.
