Nissan matic D is the correct stuff back in them days technology of oil specs was Dexron 3. Only till recently nissan matic D specifications was obtained therefore oil companies could list them on there oils. Now days dexron 6 is available. This is the stuff i use Actually i use LSA oils for everything never had a problem and at least i know they dont spend millions on sponsorships and marketing rather then on R&D
