I'm keen as to get rid of my reversing beeps as well, I'm confident that it is controlled by the BCM (Body Control Module). Chris, please let me know if there is a way of removing it without effecting the headlight & other neccessary warnings, once you get hold of this new tool

I have a 300GT with the exact same problem, mine has about 4 discs inside & just makes those mech noises about 5 time then does nothing! will not play or eject Let me know if you have anly luck with the repair. I intend to crack mine open & take a look at it some time.... Just a bit busy at the moment. Will post the results here, if it turns out to be something simple.

I spent a lot of time researching the 4doors & though I was looking for auto. Are you guys talking about the figures you see on the display? Keep in mind they are in km/L, not L/100km. To convert, to need to do 100/(number on screen) = L/100km. ie. in my case i'm averaging 7.5 on screen with city driving which = 13.33L/100km in mt 300GT I just filled the tank with 60L and I had traveled only 430km = (60/430)*100 = 13.95L / 100km City Driving If you really are doing 8-9.5L/100kms you must be driving slower than a nanna! I'm yet to go on a country trip to check out the econony there....

Hey SKiZO, you didn't happen to see if you could adjust (remove) the "beeps" in the BCM, such as the door open with ignition key in, or the very annoying reverse beeps on the auto model. At the moment I'm considering removing the speaker all together, but then would loose all the warnings.... Back on topic, I'd be quite suprised if the GUI programming was accessable through CONSULT, but you never know. I noticed that you can get the whole set up from a US G35 on ebay, but then that would be in MPG etc. I'd be interested Chris, if you were able to crack it.

Hmmm, wouldn't you see the Jap writing as well then ??? Check out the ones on ebay above, they are black. If they do not match the colour of your buttons closely, they may look a bit poxy....

Also remember there are a couple of different colours of buttons across various models.....

Thanks for the input guys, I also love CVTs, I have just sold an Audi A4 1.8T to get something a little cheaper & less costly to maintain. You have basically confirmed what I was afraid of, even if you have warranty there is no one with the knowledge to fix it, as it is a very different animal to the Audi & murano/maxima type. Hi All, I'm considering the purchase of an 350GT-8 sedan, have any of you have or heard of any negative experiences with the gearbox etc? Anyone know if they can be serviced by nissan? I have read that they are not the same type/style as the Murano & Maxima... Thanks for your help.

I'm really wondering if any of you actually KNOW the status. There are about 5 workshops all over Australia claiming that they will have it soon. Some say a week, others a month. I guess they are all dealing with a government dept. so they probably do not know themselves.....

Has anyone heard anything about when compliance will be ready??? Ernie from Skyline imports QLD is saying any day now - for the 4 doors Zoran from Japp sport is saying 2 weeks for the 2 door. Craig from J-Spec says 3-5 weeks !! Are any of them telling the truth??? I want one

Works for me, took about 1min @100kB/s so I estimate it may take up to 20 Min to download on a modem... Just leave it open, come back in a while. Great lo mount time BTW Good work!!

Thanks Bret, Stealth is the way to go It has an R32 RB26, Cam Gears, Power FC & HKS Priest exhaust. 233KW @ 4 Wheels I was quite happy with the time considering it's using stock R32 turbs...
