  1. ROFL wat a crackup , typical bogan trev's who think ford/holden is the only way and that straight lines are the most important :! what a poor image lol i knew someone who had a vl and his mechanic was telling him how shit it was because it had a nissan motor (rb30) in it and was telling him how hsv's are the best in the world :S ... typical stereotypical ignorant folk. needless to say he laughed at the mechanic so much lol
  2. lol! put me up for an order of one of those rotating license plate things
  3. Strange... it works now with the new fixed model number (on the 2nd time.. first time i pressed enter it said invalid, so i rehit enter and the details popped up... ) Enjoy!
  4. The swedish Koenigsegg CCR for sure, its got the looks and power , 2nd for looks would be the ferrari convertible
  5. hks earthing kits are in the $500 range , i'd rather get a decent $50 lol
  6. *bump* yeh interested in this when i get my new rims/wheels ehe
  7. according to asm article, they tested the hks earth grounding kit and apparently they achieved a slight gain at peak but lost more power in the midrange. so apparently unless u get the kit for dirt cheap + have electrical issues + wanna tidy up the apperance of your engine bay your hard earned cash could be spent elsewhere
  8. ROFL thats a crackup ahaha!! just reminded me to get the new asm/speed this afternoon too thx aha
  9. yeh but it doesn't mean you can't have some fun in it! just service it regularly and treat it right and it'll last you several years
  10. afaik Factory specs are 135-185 psi per cylinder and each cylinder being around 120 with an ~<5psi variance is decent for a >100,000km car. Just means your car isn't in top condition, someone's had fun in it but it should be alright for a while (That's assuming my factory spec figures are correct)
  11. using plugs would be a cheap quick solution, but then you would get more issues further down the track. like rust etc get it done right get panel beaters to weld/respray or be like me and leave the spoiler on coz i cbfed paying $400+ just so i take my spoiler off, i'll do it when i get my whole car respray
  12. autosalon, hpi and occasional speed, zoom, topgear also used to get hot4's when i started buying mags... but found way better ones.. shortly lol
  13. that '[email protected]' is suspicious and is the released subbed initial d ones on the net. I assume they were converted to dvd, covers printed, dvd's pressed, looking legit etc. A lot of dvd's sold on ebay are hard to tell if legit or not due to thier high counterfieting skills oh yeh and i'm up to stage4 now, just got into intial d
  14. http://random.platinum-central.com/A-Curre...ebo-special.avi http://www.antilag.com/videos/aca-lebbo_special.wmv (tiny 10mb wmv version) for anyone looking for the clips on non-waix and gotta luv how the media goes down hard on 'hoons' anyone hear about the alliance group that asm, couple aftermarket mod companies and workshops are forming? some sort of lobby group? sounds good
  15. i agree with the minimalistic + function wise and forged internals could do with some simple animation of the sau banner i guess, rear lights lighting up or something or car driving off into background/etc just nothing over the top
  16. had my stereo stolen and few scratches + 1 dent from freo docks oh and a forklift scratch at the rear.. car was a silvia k's http://www.pbase.com/fluent/my_s13 overall it wasn't too bad, apart from the minor issues car was in good condition
  17. yeh that bee*r r32 with r34 front was covered in last month's hpi i think
  18. my sil came in a container and the stereo still got stolen (i swear it was one of those old stock ones too.. why would anyone steal it.. lol)
  19. is that legal? they destroying your property? aren't they meant to just give you the parts they take out? :S
  20. fark.... get your mates bro to sue for undue pain and suffering!!
  21. thats right, fight it!!! http://www.r34skyline.com/ e-mail the documents/references/your point of view to all the emails there clog up their email space and maybe they'll at least read/notice
  22. 1. get temporary permit to drive solely for the purpose of getting to the compliance place. 2. Different RAWS are "qualified" to do specific cars, check with them first. 3. ~$1000-5000, sevs.. aka step by step costs 4. 1yr, bad luck. best case: few weeks shipping, then few days compliance then on the road. 5. not sure sorry, i'm in perth. How about spending that little extra by going with: http://www.j-spec.com http://www.prestigemotorsport.com.au or a recommended broker.
