hi im getting advanti medusa they are 18 x 8. we waited for 3 weeks for one company to get back to us, and 2 weeks for another (and neither of them has called still). these guys called us back within an hour.

We have just recently been looking for rims and have had a pretty hard time just getting people to get back to us re prices. Apparently no one wants our money. But then we tried Tyre Zone at Cleveland and they have been brilliant. It's a family business and they do have a pretty good range. We have the car booked in for Friday. Not sure who you complained to, but the best way to do it is through the CMC. I have a friend in the CMC and they have told me that the complaints officers are required to look into all complaints about the police within a week and they will get something done. We've had the same thing with this guy - why is it that most of the defect posts on here are by Mr Little?!? We need more people to complain about him, he has been getting away with bogus defects for way too long.

Well it's good to see that Mr Little is still writing defect notices for things he clearly doesn't understand. We were done by the same guy, and he ticked major defect for us. To get noise and emissions tested, we went to Qantum Performance at Slacks Creek, and he signed off on the approved inspection. Compared to Konrad's experience, I got off easy at the Logan Central QT inspection station. A good avenue for complaint against this officer is through the CMC (www.cmc.qld.gov.au), they take all complaints very seriously and will follow up within a week (inside information). If enough of us can complain about this unfair treatment (my car was completely legal, but it cost me over $300 to prove that to them), then something can be done about him writing these bogus defect notices. Spotted! 000GTR - White 33 GTR on Kingston Rd this afternoon around 5.30pm. Would have to be THE nicest GTR I've seen in a good long while. 500hp badge on the back (I believe it!).

hi mate, i'm the guy who spotted you pulled over and then got pulled over by the same cop a week later. bov's are tied up with the rule on noise and emissions apparently. when they went over my car all they asked me was 'does it have a tune?'. i assume he meant a whistle or something, which it doesn't. (and i have an atmospheric bov). but the logan inspection station doesn't test for noise or emissions so i have to get that done myself. do you know of anyone who does?

Mate i feel your pain. We've just been put over the pits because of absolute crap that the cop made up... atmospheric bov (passed), fmic (passed), steering wheel (passed). BUT.. department of transport DO NOT test emissions or noise. I know this because they have said that i need to get that done myself (and pay for it) and send them the results. I would fight the ticket when your results come back as fine. and also send them a letter and a bill for the days pay that you lost and the cost of the test. I know I am.

saw a black 32 at springwood - number plate TUF032. Very nice. Also saw a silver 32 gtr on venner rd in yeronga - soooo nice! I want one! I also often see a silver 33 on sexton rd around 5.30am.

Thanks ska for posting that. I work really long hard hours (shut up dan) and i just haven't got around to putting that same post on. Leigh, to answer your question, we put the car over the pits in a month so we'll let you know. we got defected for just that thing.

i need a pedal box and fly wheel for a 32 gtst for a manual conversion. OK i now have a pedal box and master cylinder. Still chasing the fly wheel.

Yep i saw you wave, but our windows were up. We waved from inside, but tinted windows... The car is pretty clean, but not enough for the cops (got defected 2 nights ago) Don't know if you remember us, but we met you on the byron bay cruise (my brother-in-law has the 32 with rb25 conversion, which now has 33 rims on it thanks to you). Noone ever sees us either .

Well well well. We just had another look at Konrad's defect notice and guess what?!?!?! SAME F-ING COP!!!!!!!!! Anyone who gets a defect notice from this guy but gets passed by Qld Transport should put in a complaint. But you'll have to get in line behind me.
