I tried Cheapa Auto Spares when I had to use one of these babies, $40 for a tool I'll probably use once or twice? No thanks... so I know how you feel! I have heard that Repco sometimes LEND people tools - you could try asking someone there nicely. Otherwise, you could use a set of verniers and a bit of guess and check.

Firstly, I saw your car at Robina Town Centre the other day and I have to say it's a very nice clean ride. Just needed some rims I thought haha I say number 1. Firstly, it appaers you're going for the all smooth, clean look. Gold is good, it's very crisp and has a lot of gradient. I was thinking 6 but to me they look too detailed. I think it would detract rather than flow with your car. Anyway, 1 or 6 ... the rest look dodgy. Don't get 2, that'll just make your brakes look small. Oh and personally I'd get black wheels To make it look hawt.

Did you try Nissan? Scott's Rubber? A wrecker's yard?

Yeah I tried the other one just aftewards and it hasn't bounced back yet so we'll see!

Cool. I was just at a Nissan dealer for some (bloody expensive) bushes... dont really need anything but if its NOS then it's worth having just to be all shiny and NEW. I will ask around in Japan for your enigmatic LHS tail light.

Probably thinking of Watanabe RS-8's. Konig brought out their Rewinds which are pretty much a direct ripoff of Watanabes. Hell of a lot cheaper though, but noticeably heavier and they aren't the real thing. Probably good enough for most people though...

Nah its just an upload problem - rename the file to MOV and then play. It's a video and virus free. It spins well!

Japan. Modification to the rear guards and doors is necessary on 4-door models if you want the flares to be functional (ie not rubbing everywhere). Pretty tricky job.

Hi Paul, yes there are quite a few old C210's in wreckers around here. I'm sure someone could pick up the set for you and it wouldn't cost too much - the real killer would be shipping. I'll keep an eye out...

Awesome, my fav is also definitely December. Bit of a pity our (February) shot was in poor weather. Lack of contrast etc. Looks good though man, numbers are going to be printed in the corners of the boxes too I assume? The only suggestion I would have (and it's probably too late now but hey) is for April .. the little pictures are too intruding... but I guess you can't do anything else really with it. So yeah it'll have to do! Must be frustrating getting this all together. Big ups to you for putting in the effort.

I had a car that was meant to be in panel shop for 2-3 weeks, ended up being about 10 weeks before it was all done. And it was a pretty mediocre job. If anyone wants to open a panel shop that doesn't lie, does a good job, doesn't smoke weed every afternoon and doesn't charge the Earth - PLEASE let me know!!

Yes, Jason told me about this when I met him recently! All of his C210's have had "Skyline" underneath the "Datsun" badge on the back. It seems all Nissan did was whack on a Datsun badge ON TOP of the "Skyline"!! I love it! Still looking for some red "GT" badges for my C110. And yes Jim I must have been thinking of the 2400GT, I swear I saw a C10 badged as 240K though... hmm, bad memory starting already?

I have lots of official paperwork to say that it was released in Japan late 1972. September from memory.. FUN FACT: The first "240K" was not the C110 - the C10 was actually shipped to Northern Europe as a 240K - in LHD. You're a lucky guy! I still haven't seen a C10 in the flesh...

Hmm... yes the 240K was absolutely not released in Aus until 1973 as I said earlier. I figured it was more likely to be a hazey memory than a C10 so left the statement alone! Anyway, the 240K was a C110 - they never sold here as Skylines. The C210 was of course badged as a Datsun Skyline.

Very nice! What are the plans? Swap all the good bits over to one car? More specs please! Manual/auto? What VIN + year? More pics too would be nice Probably an OK spot to put my *other* C110 too, though this one isn't in as nearly as good nick as either of yours. It's for parts only.
