  1. Yes generally get it on cooler days. Looks like its time for a Z32
  2. Im getting Power Cut for a split second between 3500/4500 rpm under full throttle. If i wind down the boost (below 15psi) i dont get it but over that i get this power cut. From 5000rpm to redline i dont get it at any boost. I am thinking its the AFM maxing out, but reading from the SAFC i dont get 100% Air Flow until about 5000prm, so why would it do this below 5000rpm with Air Flow between 80/90%. Is it Boost Cut, do the Series 1 R33 GTST have boost cut??? Its quite temperamental, sometimes i get it and sometimes i dont but its always in the midrange where boost is at its peak. Im running a HKS 2530 too.
  3. 1) Did you stretch the water lines? You might have to bend it back. 2) Are you using a new dump? I find with installing an aftermarket dump pipe i have to constantly move the dump so i can thread the bolt in. There is no way the bolt will go on if i tighten all the other bolts first.
  4. Yeah, what boost and are you running a Z32?
  5. Sounds like some excelent power, you got a pic of dyno graph?
  6. Pics Of What?
  7. I gapped the plugs too .9mm and running 16psi there is not one slighest sign of miss.
  8. I paid $560 delivered, i see there over $600 now.
  9. I have just installed my Spitfires and after all that mucking around with aralditing the coils with no success, slapped the spitfires in and bang no misses at all. So from 13psi im boosting my 2530 upto 15/16 and she is pulling like a train without the slighest hesitation. I highly recommend them. Next issue im going to open the gap on the plugs from .7 to .9 and see how she goes. I think there is a little more power in the plugs. Shortening the gap on the plugs only hides a weakness in the ignition system. Bigger gap means stronger spark!! Now i feel my air flow meter is maxing out as i get total power loss for a split second in the midrange when i boost it over 16psi!! Now for the Z32.
  10. Im paid $120 for my first SAFC tune and now i do them myself. But you still have to pay for the time on the dyno. For someone who has never done it before, he is just protecting his arsse. But really they are a peice of pisss to tune.
  11. Im still waiting for my Spitfires, i ordered them on the 17/11 and i believe they have left with your batch, (back log) so hopefully there sitting in the mail box when i get home
  12. Check the hose for leaks to the actuator.
  13. How much are they going for?
  14. Hopefully i can join you in using a SAFC 2 with a Z32. Im still waiting for my spitfire coils to come so i can fix one problem at a time
  15. Give it some time, you've only had it advertised one day!! With the mods and power its got, thats certainly a recommended price for the "right" buyer.
  16. Both will do the job nicely. I stepped up from the SAFC 1 to SAFC 2 and found the knock control to be the major advantage over the 1 series. Also you have a wider selection path of tuning options at variable rpm points. Value for money go the SAFC 2, if your struggling SAFC 1 still isnt a bad unit.
  17. $2000 Will see you get one 2nd hand only with possibly the oil and water line kit, there dear little buggers
  18. Exactly, generally you pay an easy $500 more to get it BB hi flowed than bush. Bush is the cheaper way to go costing upto $1,500 for a hi-flow. In reality terms, i havent experienced a bush hi-flow!! But it maybe good.
  19. I get no knock when it is cold, but as it warms up you get a little knock, maybe 3 or something. Its a nice little tool too muck around with.
  20. Take a photo of your engine bay. Ive just ordered some Spitfire series 1 coils, the ones with the ignitor. Let me see them and i will tell you the difference.
  21. Can you get laptimes? Or is it just driving around flat out?
  22. I ran 12.98 @ 107.2 with 207rwkw, 2.02 60' and 13.32 @ 103.4 with 183rwkw. 1.94 60'
  23. Whats a 2035 turbo?
