just wondering if there will be any major problems with my attessa system if i pull the fuse out and drive the car. i have 2 different diametre tyres on the front and rear and it is causing the car to run in 4wd all the time. so to stop it i was just goin to pull the fuse til i get the front new tyres this weekend cheers

hey mate, sounds similar to what my car is doing, most likely it ya coil packs. i checked all my plugs and they are all in good condition. i think this is caused by them heating up to hot. i have checked all mine and the seem not too look too bad. but still need replacing. im thinking of making up a new loom with plugs for the coil packs as well i wouldnt think it would b ya valve

when u guys say miss firing, do u mean 1 cyl dropping out? as i am having similar probs when my car heats up

gday mate. i had a friend that brought an r32 gtst from redline. yeah he pay a little to much for it but it was in fairly good condition from what i saw! ill ask him what he thinks of them on the weekend when i catch up with him. as he isnt on sau. i have been in and talked to them a couple times and they seem ok to me. havnt heard anything about sinergy for a long time(since the were on anzac hwy), dont even know where they are located anymore i can give you some links to import brokers sites if ya r considering importing 1.

have ya checked how much ya got left on ya pads? are the low or are they new? i know my rears made a lil bit of a scrapping sound when they were new, it has protty much stopped

yeah thats bargin R34 GTR had 170,000+kms on it, explains why it was cheap!! you should b able to pick up a decent r33 gtr for round the 30k mark yeah and decent r34 GTR i have seen for around 57k....prices all landed and complied with decent amount of km;s on the clock

ill correct ya a lil bit there karl, it does make a differece if you are cornering fast with the front wheels engaging!!! as ya may feel the back start to let go but the front digs in the claws and ya in for a ride!! ya right about the wet, u remember when i was fishing down that raod....i am very happy that i didnt have a rear wheel drive that night as i would have lost it no doubt!! the fact about a 190kw falcon...no way ya can compare it to a gtr, even if it has 15kw's less power, doesnt mean a thing. its not how powerfull the car is its how it puts it to the ground and the gtr does that very well indeed!! example. r34 gtr(206kw) vs. hsv gts(300kw)(in a old wheels mag) the gtr absolutly made a mess of the gts. i luv driving mine!! its awsome

yeah i agree, leave it off or else u may cook your coil packs afta a heavy boosting session. i had a friend with an 32 gtst that melted 2 of his and mine r starting to f**k up!!! split fire time!!

down side, if something brakes....its gonna cost ya a heap more to fix than the rb25

cheers guys, i was reading the munual last night and saw the speed sensors on the diagram. sitting at work pondering about it 2day it just came to me at work about the speed sensors not working properly with different tyres on!! cheers for the help guys!!! yeah i am getting the same sized tyres on the fron this weekend! so hopfully it will b all good!!! thanks again

just wondering if any one can help me. i have had my gtr for a while now and havent had any problem with the 4wd system. i got new 18" x 9.5" mags for it with streched 235s on the fron and 245 on the rear. no the weekend i got 2 new 255 tyres for the rear and had the 245 put on the front. after i left the tyre place i noticed my torque guage sitting just below the 10 mark. so i slowed right down and it didnt drop back to 0. and it wont drop bak to 0 unless i come to a complete stop. i was on the way home and it was still doin this. even when i would put the car in neutral and are rolling along. it just wont drop. this seems very unusual 2 me!! does any1 have any ideas with what the problem it or how i can fix it. cheers

i have the old style hks turbo time. its not automatic, it has pre-set times for the car to cool down. they are 30 secs, 1 min, 3 mins and 5 mins. and an off button. im not really into the electricals, i reckon i could do it if i really needed to but i prefer to leave it up to people that have done it and know how to do it

what condition is the whole short motor in?? if ya r prepared to sell it like that?? cheers

im not wanting to reinstall the 1 i have now, later on i mite decide to buy a newer 1 and have it installed

how r ya guys, just a quick 1. i need my turbo timer taken out for a road worthy check and to sell to a mate. anyways im not sure of any places in adelaide that can do it. im very certain there isnt any places in victor harbor(where im from) that can do it. cheers, james

hey mate, its james, with the red r32, i have 18' x 9.5'. those white mags, they seem to fit nicely but ya seen to lower the car a lil bit. i think ya can fit 10' wide wheels on there. streched 235 on 9.5' wide wheels look a bit ugly, thats what i have on the front. hoping to have 255 all round or 245 front and 255 rear or 245 all round (depending on the price per corner) this weekend!! goin with sum expensive rubber as well, fulda exelero(i think thats what they are called)

will they suit standard bore size mate?

what block did you use? was it the rb26 block bored out stroked etc or the rb30et block?? cheers
