Weird Vibration/noise On Low Revs!?!?
ookami replied to stuartlaw_78's topic in RB Series - R31, R32, R33, R34 (1986-2002)
I've seen this problem with other cars before (S13 and R33 GTs-t) and both times it was because the clutch was not balanced properly and at that engine speed it would vibrate the hell out of the exhaust brackets that bolt onto the gearbox. Try removing them and see if that helps otherwise get a better clutch -
took their time to red flag the race!!! Man there's bugger all metal in those cars too, thats scary when the car rips open.

RX7 are renowned for their tight cornering ability. I have a soft spot for them for some reason . I think the MCR car was retired not long after that and replaced with a porsche

^^ R1 has 134kw, GTR have 206kw .... 4 times is a bit much but weight is approx 10 times as much

little less than a real 2 door gtr so like low 30s.

R32 Gtr Or R33 Gts
ookami replied to Drift Dragon's topic in RB Series - R31, R32, R33, R34 (1986-2002)
well buy one .... i recently improted early this year and i had a hard time finding decent examples for under 30 grand let alone a series 3 like i wanted. i think you need to check actual costs in japan for something other than the cheepies that j-spec and others a like send through. We're only trying to give advice to stop the dreamers like yourself getting burnt and crying broke cause you've blown you motor in your "80,000 km" gtr. -

well can you imagine the condition of these mythical r33 gtr's for 25 grand if you've had a bad experience with a R32 for 25 grand -

R32 Gtr Or R33 Gts
ookami replied to Drift Dragon's topic in RB Series - R31, R32, R33, R34 (1986-2002)
^^ you won't get much of an R33 gtr for 25 grand. With GTRs you get what you pay for. -
Huh? they've got a VQ25DET engine - T being turbo and whats this about a 2 seater 2 door coupe?

R32 Gtr Or R33 Gts
ookami replied to Drift Dragon's topic in RB Series - R31, R32, R33, R34 (1986-2002)
^^^ I'd agree i did this and went from an R33 gts-t to a R33 gtr. The biggest problem with R32 gtr is their getting to that age where they have problems which can be both expensive and frustrating. If i had my time over again I'd save up and get skip my previous 2 cars and go straight to a gtr. -
580hp, 0-100km/h In 3.46s, 339km/h, 4wd, Twin Turbo
ookami replied to Forged's topic in General Automotive Discussion
I'll proabbly get flamed for this but i reckon if the gtr goes as well as the porsche thats all good but from what I've seen so far it doesn't look anywhere near as good. -
