Mate Dave came over, yep he reconds better tyres like you guys said, he freaked out on how hard the Nissan is pulling compared to when we test drove it. he crashed the 1970 boss351 mustang. First prang in 32 yrs of driving. Locked it up in the wet not paying attention reefed it sideways and back end quater hit a Hyundai Excel. :'( never seen him so humble.) my fault. He reconds shannons were awesome to deal with. Insured for 40.000.

My 18th metropolis freo animosity playing. Got kicked out for being too drunk. Snuck back in bouncers chasing me lasted a hour still couldn't find all the boys. Bouncer found me kicked out again. Waited Till 3am boys came out. Fell asleep on park benches and lawn in freo Park. Got our wallets pinched while sleeping. jumped on train got kicked off train had to all walk home and cancelled cards when we got home. Lessons learned!

Nope jack didn't touch a drop and his mates were fully sensible. Pretty rare I catch up with the old band mates so....the old drummer leading the bass players and guitarists into stories loaded with awesomeness tom fullery and debauchery:-) the older we get the better we were:-o

Jacks 18th was on Saturday night. Full quota of family and friends over, BBQ, cakes, and way too many beers. Sunday was a write off. :'( me, the bro and old bandmates up till 3am.

The old alpine head unit in the Nissan has a dodgy touch screen so I bought the remote off ebay for $15.00 is cool to listen to DVDs on it. You know because I never watch the screen while driving. Opeth, iron maiden, Metallica etc. Dolby dig and dts.

The Sony in the Ford recognises my experia instantly on entry in drive mode so as soon as I get in it connects automatically. The Bluetooth unit in the d-max does the same. I listen to a old time radio app to and from work which I download the stories at home from. CBS radio mystery theatre. Told you guys I was fully old:-(

My wife has a windows 8 phone. I fitted a Sony Bluetooth head unit to the falcon with a mic up behind the front sun visor. Bought a kit of eBay. It still utilises all the steering wheel controls and only uses the Sony as a replacement head control unit. Works perfect with the phone. Contacts, calls, streaming, etc. We replaced 2 x ford 6 x disc units from the factory and it kept on eating discs and malfunctioning. It's Been in for over a year and no probs. She loves it. Ford has a reasonable factory system with a 8" sub in the rear parcel shelf and splits in the front. Happy times. Made me look good for once!

I went for 245/17/40's to give it a bit more side wall. The xr8 has 245/19/30's. The tramping goes away at 28psi but comes back around 32psi. The contact patch looks horrible at 28psi and will kill the inside of the tyres. If I go up to 36psi it's just full wheel spin? The Bridgestone guy reconds to run 40psi in the falcon and it loves it. Steers spins and squats pretty nice. My mate Dave is coming over Saturday so I'll get him to take it for a spin and see what he thinks. His mustang just squats and fries at any speed in second. Bombed 351 Windsor, manualised c10, 9" with 3:95s. No power anything except for the motor;-)

Got fibre to node nbn connected today with a new router. Hooked it all up and it actually worked? Amazing for telstra. 49.01 Mbps download 31.82 Mbps upload. Madness. Thanks Kevin 747. Got my t.v., ps3, ps4, t-box and foxtel hooked up to the lan running a rj8 cable through the roof down to a powered splitter. All devices are running a similar speed. All the wife and kids systems are running Wi-Fi and getting 20mbps down 9mbps up. Insane!
