  1. And Justice for tevs...
  2. Love my front plenum. Is it a 26? No. Where is the bov? Look harder. She's frying the 245's in 1/2. Need to look at new coil overs won't sit and squat since I lifted the ride height? Tramping. All the rear bushes Look good?
  3. Good times to work around a rb30 they sit alot higher and it would need mods?
  4. Hmm locally available k-frame? (Australia) From a rear end jobbie. Seen a few places in wa that do half cuts? Would be expensive though?
  5. Gold finger, filling r33's with silver brazing bronzing, and weld? How's it looking for repairs?
  6. No bull shitting out at westrac. Especially with the rebuild, dyno guys. And the men who sign cheques. It's a well known fact with in the industry that you know your stuff. Then move on to bigger pay days! 2 x dyno guys, 2 x mechanics, 2 x guys that pay the bill. Fully questioned on all steps, I honestly find it easier to work with those guys than lackeys. Broke down the quote with every single section of the processes costed and explained with pictures and drawings, plus induction time, travel time, materials list and labour break down. Good knowledge and fun.
  7. It sure will. Industry work horse. Men dig it.
  8. Can even be related back to the skyline. Turbo outlet is 2" I/d and 2 1/2" od. 2 1/2" tubing to 3" intercooler so the air has a pressure drop then expands through the intercooler and fills with mass for air cooling then compresses back to 2 1/2" into the throttle body. With a 3" intake to match the size of the intercooler. You've just got to love the principals and practices of turbo charging. It's the reason our Nissan's are animals. :-)
  9. Quoted a job for westrac today. Fix all there charge air intercooler box with all new 8" to 7" breeches pieces to 7" tubing off the turbo's for c175-20 engines. Even with massive swages and tripple clamping they are popping the hoses under 32psi boost. We've chased it down to the weekest link which is where the 8" reduces to a 7" breeches piece after the intercooler and into the intake manifolds. Have done 2 x fixes already. Hope we pick up the job. It's a big job that I've honestly quoted. Will be all new tube work and a full new reconfiguration. They are expanding size from the turbo's to the intercooler, but reducing too much on the way back to the manifolds. So far as I'm concerned. I've suggested 3 x fixes but in reality it needs all new tubing. I love working with the guys at westrac, they know there stuff. Which makes my job easier.
  10. Yep she's a big girl, have some pics of a dual 10" exhaust and new charge air tubes I made for westrac out at there dyno room. But can't upload them. What were the results? Worn lobes?
  11. Did you get a cap or a pull?
  12. Bargain. I'd want more than that for fluffing around with someone's gob:-P discount for brushing teeth prior!
  13. What engine. Sounds like your kind of strip down. All day and 2 people :-o
  14. OUCH and bummer then the biggest pain. The bill
  15. Big'uns? Caterpillars? Ive just clocked up 42 years and starting to break down often:-(
  16. Just don't get it wrong. Maths and angles
  17. The doors you get at bunnings/masters etc. Are generally only a generic size. You would need to put a architrave in (metal or wood) the metal architraves generally have the hinges built into the frame work. The first pic looks like a bigger width than normal. The second pic looks pretty standard. From memory doors are normally. 715mm small 815mm large. Could be 720, 820. Then once the architrave is in you just plane them down to suit because the doors have thicker wood on the outside the internal frame. You also have to fit the door handles and cut out the locking mechanism into the architrave.
  18. A full herd of white elephant ridiculousness, the sheer irony is that the gazebo replaced the kids old cubby house. 90x90 timbers fully concreted and solid braced floor. Pine paneled door, windows, eaves out on to a small patio. Stud frame and full weather board inside and out. Full corrugated green roof to match the house. I slept in it a few times while drinking beers and listening to the radio in raging bad weather to sheerly justify the amount of work and expenses. Kids never used it! Fully funny to hear a similar experience. I lost my s##t. Again!
  19. Dad reconds if there is a earthquake or cyclone head out to the gazebo or patio. Totally over engineered.
  20. Gazebo. Or as I like to call it the white elephant. Wife had too have it. Brand new, never been used, no joy riders low ballers or time wasters. chews more oil than a ls1:-o
  21. She looks so lonely out there!
  22. Looking good. I'm up to the 3rd tin of oil for the gazebo at $70 bucks a pop so will pay for its self in the end.
