  1. yeah man, was good to catch up with ya! mannum is so chilled out after leaving the traffic jams in the city. those pics are a reminder to me that i need bigger wheels thanks flick +1 on tims car, looks tough as with the wide guards and huge rims!
  2. i got rid of mine, i just figured it as one less thing to defect me for. i usually drive at low rpm for the minute or 2 before i turn the car off
  3. it helps if you have a mate in the trade or something to give you some guidance. im a spray-painter and i use to try and paint my old cars before i was an apprentice, i remember back then i had barely any tools and limited knowledge which meant even the simple parts took me aages. if u can borrow a palm sander and a decent air compressor it makes the job so much quicker
  4. no worries vinnie, i been busy as too, yep just send me a msg when u wanna pick it up
  5. cheers guys, yep i took the steering wheel off first. willshire motor trimmers on south road did the job for me
  6. +1 i would go back to stock standard everything. sell all the mods. go through inspection, sell the car standard. then GT-R
  7. it was 260 for the retrim, i was quoted 180 at a different place but the guy who did the steering wheels was on holidays for a month
  8. i ended up getting mine stock one retrimmed, i have a momo wheel too, and personally i reakon the factory one is way better
  9. i just went outside and got a pic, the outside is redone in leather but the bit in the middle is still factory. cost me 260, but they did an awesome job.
  10. i just got mine done last week in leather, looks soo much better than the chewed up old vinyl that came as factory. ill post a pic up soon
  11. its true hey, they see a skyline so that means they need to put on the hero act. if only they knew how stupid they look from our perspective i had a classic the other day, some clapped out old corolla gets up next to me and proceeds to do about 4 keybangers.. sorry mate i dont understand what you are tyring to show here? are you trying to compensate for lack of power by shooting flames out of your exhaust?
  12. i think the luxury suv crowd cant get it through their heads that the 50-100k they forked out on their 'overweight box on wheels' didnt include any performance. it probably bothers them that a 10-15k skyline can toast them. you probably did the wrong thing by reacting to this dude though, it seems as it just fueled the fire some more. just ignore them and they lose interest. i get the falcadores always wanting to race, tailgating, people wanting to see a drift/burnout ect, i just ignore it all & keep driving
  13. nada what area/suburb are you in?
  14. hmm, the fact that the paint was in a big blob does sound intentional, normally when a truck drops paint it leaves a nice big trail. if u still have any paint on your car, wax and grease remover works great. just use 1 cloth for the solvent and a clean dry cloth to dry over afterwards.
  15. good post hotfuzz, i agree its the dickhead import drivers that give us a bad name, thus the reason we are targeted. a good bit of advice in that last paragraph of your post too
  16. cool, i only got a quick glance cos of peak hour traffic
  17. spotted a black 34 and a grey 32 @ torrensville happy wash about 6pm
  18. LOL *thinks back to the unfortionate night we both got stuck trying to get onto the ferry*
  19. i have bilsteins combined with whiteline springs and swaybars. i think its a top all round street setup. i used to have tanabe pro coil-overs, they were way too solid for these roads.
  20. i found this one on youtube, sounds absolutely mad & runs a 9.1 not sure on how to embed, but heres the link
