  1. Looks weird. The INGS kit does that aswell. Might look better chopped off.
  2. Take a wheel off- it usually has it stamped on there if you wipe away some dirt.
  3. Gday Mike, HI Mike, Ive had an S15 as a previous ride also- with a few mods coilovers etc. Different animal altogether. The V's FM layout has you totally bewildered the first few times you drive it (ass end of mine came out cornering too hard, first drive in wet, lucky VDC kicked in). As you get to work out the car- you then find you can REALLY push into and out of a corner with good speed. My girl's S15's I now get quite scared driving it as it feels like its going to fling out at any stage. It is just too easy to throw an S15 around. The V is more of touring car, and more gentlemanly- less road noise, more comfort, more style. I jumped in a 08 Z and looked at the interior and was really dissapointed for what you pay for. I have 70th Anniversary model LTD, so I much prefer the ivory interior over any of the premium models. But im used to light colored interiors over the S15 plastic black. Personally its nice change of sceney to the S15, there was nothing else to choose from either in the same price bracket. O RX8- looked them and was very quickly turned off. Plus fuel consumption i s pretty dam good. Keep reading old threads and Im sure you find a natural progression from S'series Nissans to this. A mate of mine also works in Canberra and just bought an 05 Black Manual last week. Im sure I can tee up a look for you also.
  4. They are Gunmetal grey yup. Sorry pics not clear. Price now at $2500 firm.
  5. I have a T style carbon bonnet for Series 1 R33 GTST. It has been damaged in freight. Paid $1000. Selling for $600 + freight. You can paint over it and repair. Or paint over it and black the damage. It not heavily damaged.
  6. Looking to upgrade my wheels and tyres. So I am selling the current ones if I can. http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/Fs...-S-t221323.html

  8. Are the pads reinserted properly? Perhaps worth a look. CHanging the front discs is only 2 bolts. And taking the wheel off of course You need a G clamp aswell to get piston back in. A long thick screwdriver to take the caliper off. I bought DBA slotted. $180 pair. Its for normal lazy driving so I didnt care. SAme part number as 350Z-. very easy on these cars.
  9. If you dont put respectable rims on it- then it will look crap regardless how the paint is I rekon. Volk GTS in black - with the chrome dish 20 x 10.5 would be quite tasteful. But your up for 5K with tyres. If you put 22's in chrome- Though Ive seen a few magazines where they do that alot to 350's in Japan. Still I dont think Rays/Volk make 22's off the shelf yet. In terms of the blending of the shades- no way! You will put the social status of this super sports cruiser into the relm of FULLY SICK WRX man! then again your only 21- you dont know what good taste is yet.
  10. Theres about 31 for sale in private carsales and a few in trading post. One thats $95,000 aswell. You should be able to find a good specimen.
  11. I wont buy a car if it has any evidence of damage- For me it has to have original paint and I can spot it. Id rather pay that little bit extra for piece of mind.
  12. Best go to a rim shop, you would think they would have a few there.
  13. Did an oil change yesterday. Much eaiser to take the drivers side wheel off then the 25 bolts You can access the sump plug and oil filter. Ryco Z436 I used also- thanks War32
  14. ^^ what he said. I have 19 x 9.5 rears + 38. Sits a tad in. I will space it when I have time.
  15. Jarthel, I think you spend too much time on the internet and not enough time testing a car at the dealers.
  16. Is that steering wheel from a 02 - on Stagea? As they came with cruise yeah.
  17. Hey War32 I checked this filter number today- it said it was for a Mazda and Subaru! SO I thought Id doubled check again that I had written it down properly. It was only $12 for that one. Sound right??
  18. I spotted a silver one lowered with silver rims off memory, on the M4 westbound about Wentworthville to M4 maccas we trailed together about 2 weeks ago. He had all his lights on during the day also. The gentleman had a moustache and stuck his whole arm out the sunroof to wave. Hehe.
  19. Im waiting for 2 x PU lips to come. Though I keep asking- seems it misses the container each time. This is what Im expecting.
  20. I think also - that the switch next to your mirrors tilt adjustment- to the left of teh steering wheel- that button has to be in, so that your using the top setting. (hard to explain), try it anyway.
  21. Isnt it about a 75litre tank? I get 600ish highway driving. 400 seems excessive.
  22. Hows the sound of teh Fuji @ say freeway speeds - 110km ? Annoying? Acceptable?
  23. Hey Driiftt If you can import these cars- can you import a R35 brand new in? If they are 9 million Yen and AUS will sell them at $160,000! Omg you could make a hell saving. I need a greater insight.
