When i changed my plugs i noticed they were a little tite on the plugs, so i just lifted them up one at a time, like undo the 7 bolts, and lift up the front coilpack, then lift the other two up on the angle. Only a slight angle, it helps to crack the seal.

fixing a headgasket isnt really that cheap, so i hope its not that, i've been there done that on one of my old cars. damn it !!!. Have you overheated the car at all ? does it run better when the car is warm, is your engine oil milky at all, traces of white of anything like that? Get your cooling system flushed out and new coolant in. Not that expensive, and get the radiator people to pressure check it while they are at it, may just be the radiator also.

I found a good cheap boost controller for $22!!!

I got my boost controller on friday, installed it today, didnt touch anything on the controller at all. Reaches 9.5 - 10psi (too busy watching road just in case) and drops back down to 7psi :s ill get a couple of pictures one of the controller installed, and the other is the line that the boost guage feeds off. The car only has a catback exhaust (hence why i just put it on and didnt adjust it) -

The first one was half decent, second one was just getting tacky. Now cant wait to see the thrid one, should be even worse, but hey, its got cars going fast, i can phase out the rest of the movie, ahaha. It may surprise and be actually fantastic. what about your cat? is it a highflow item or compliance item? the cat and the standard dump pipe will be severly restricting the flow at that amount of boost. Get a new dump pipe, and cat (if you dont have one already) and the car should push a shitload better when on boost. also get a new highflow panel filter if you havent already, these basic steps will see you pushing some better figures. And we all usually talk rear wheel kilowatts rwkw, its pretty hard to pull the engine and dyno it at the engine

Hey guys, just wondering if there is any other way beside from buying the cleaning kit from k&n themselves to clean my panel filter, its filthy, i have blown it out with an airgun. Im just wondering if using thinners or kerosene will do anything. But dont wanna stuff the filter up in the process. Anytips?

Haha, i wouldnt worry about being embarrased, one time driving another vehicle, i had no dashlights and parkers on the outside of the car. Very annoying at night, anyways, was going to take it to an auto elec, i checked what i could. Anyways, got pulled over for it, copy looked at the fuses and said there was a blown one ... :s i missed it. Dang.

screamer pipes are somewhat illegal, anyonet hat thinks that this noise is tops, well drive ur car to a racetrack or drag strip. Put it on, and go for a hoon, then take it off again and drive home. exhaust is always a good starting point. The next thing you should do is get a highflo k & n panel filter and stick it in your airbox. After that, its the intercooler, then a little bit of boost via some sort of boost controller. u can get a boost controller here in the for sale section for about $30 i think for a manual one. 10 - 11 psi wld be the best range to have it on after performing the exhaust, filter and intercooler upgrades. You can get most parts here, in group buys or the for sale section, have a shop around before u pay ur hard earned cash over

well firstly, a dump pipe will allow the turbo to spool up a little quicker and let the exhaust system breath better up top. A split dump pipe is the way togo so. You will also need a highflo cat to match your exhaust system if your going for a perfomance upgrade. Otherwise the standard compliance cat will be severly restricting things and it will be little use upgrading the whole system. You wont need to modify your rear bar at all. Depends on the type of tip you end up getting also. Note, it is actually illegal to have your exhaust pointing out on an angle. Although most have it on a slight angle. BUt still depends on the tip. I would just leave the manifold standard. A waste of money unless your chasing massive amounts of power, which it sounds like your only after slightly more power than you have now. Contact BATMBL on these forums, well i think thats it, and he can help you out with a dump pipe and cat. There are a heap of cat bat exhausts to get also. Or get a custom one made up. Good luck

Meh, stuff that, need it changed today. Took off the wheel, undid four bolts holding the caliper together, slid it apart, watched all the brake fluid come out. Smashed the stud out, now i can go get a new one and put it back in, yippee. Wanted to take it out before getting a new one to make sure it was right !!! Looks like ill have to bleed the brake system damn it !!!

Hey guys, one of the studs on the front has just threaded itself. Last time i let some one else put nuts back on with a rattle gun. As the same guy did it to my mates car also. Anyways, how easy is it todo, i cant just knock it out. i actually need to remove some items. What do i need to remove, and where would be the best place to get a new stud from :s
