Impul Type R Rims Rare/good?
Coupe-This replied to CameronBNR32's topic in Exterior & Interior Styling
mmm dish *drools* well dont jump into anything. Worse comes to worse, buy those nice work rims, and buy me some at the same time, ill give you the specs and stuff of what i want, ehehe ... and keep the other rims and sell them for a fair price, i honestly have no idea what they are worth etc ... -
hahah true, just want to hear everyones opinions on things tho ... and what they will all be doing when they have settled down, if they ever do, i dont think ill grow out of it ... taste towards cars may change but i wont grow out of it. Like i said, i would like to have a garage devoted to a hobby car to work on

Impul Type R Rims Rare/good?
Coupe-This replied to CameronBNR32's topic in Exterior & Interior Styling
omg lower it, hehe are you happy with them? they the right width for you, no scrubbing. Who cares how much a rim costs or doesnt cost, i would buy a 2 dollar rim if it was of course a good reputable rim and would brake. But as long as i liked it on my car, thats the important thing... so think about it. or are there other rims you prefer? -
160-200rwkw ? How To Get There
Coupe-This replied to unarmed_skyline's topic in Engines & Forced Induction
hahah i reckon u should do the v8 thing, nissan have a 4.5l v8 i think, there is an r33 on here with it in there, the cop wouldnt know wtf is going on, its under 5 litres, but with the power i wouldnt know, and i doubt the stupid cop would know as well, lol as him looking for the turbo to fine u for power to weight i doubt it, im sure he was just trying to give u a nice canery, but thought, meh no turbo, no fun ... who knows, cops are weird, sometimes they are nice, and other times not -
Now, personally, when i purchase a new performance part for any car, that is not really needed to keep the car running, or not even a maintanance thing, i think, i know this is a waste of money. But, im buying it, and putting it on anyways. When you look at it in the perspective of spending big $$$ on a car, there is never any way in hell that your going to get it back, hardly any of it infact. But as an actual car enthusiast and not a hoon, i get pleasure from even just cruising around happily in my car, knowing that it has the power there if i want it. I would actually prefer a nice cruise on a nice night to going out to a party or a club. And for that reason, i will always spend $$$ on any of the cars i get. Unless its purely for the family, and when that does happen, i see myself with a hobby car in the garage happily tinkering away with it, hopefully with a mate alongside. In the long run, i know i would be better off not spending money on cars. But as i say to people, i dont do it for the investment, i do it because its something i enjoy doing. My goal for my r33 aint a big one, get a decent power figure, get it running into the 12's and hopefully get my cams license and race it around the track. And to all those people who just dont understand me spending money on my car ... You go buy those stamps that will still be worth 50 cents in ten years time, go you !!!

actually looking at it, the boot looks supra ish ... the actual shape

160-200rwkw ? How To Get There
Coupe-This replied to unarmed_skyline's topic in Engines & Forced Induction
for an aspirated car, hmmm cams, port polish, port the exhaust, headers, full exhast system ur 2 1/4 may be a tad small, is it mandrel bent? there isnt a great deal u cant do unless u open them up and go hardkore do you want to turbo it or supercharge it ? y not drop a nissan v8 in ? up to you really, its cheaper to just buy a turbo and have the power there with minor bolt ons. just depends what u want, what you wanna do etc. -
i personally would like to see some of the newer cars take some more aggressive lines like some of the older generation of cars, for example the old holdens and fords look mean, and even the older skylines look damn tuff, as do the early rx series ... im sure we could make a tuff looking aerodynamic car ffs, it looks like if u dont grab the handle to open the door properly soon we will just be slipping and sliding down our cars ... just not on, cars need more character ...
-
it looks like a f*kn damn turd all these new cars coming out are getting uglier and uglier, is it just me or will i have to drink a slab of beer before i go buy a new car to make it look half decent?
-
are you really doing 180 ? when they are imported they are fitted with an 180km speed limiter as part of compliance, this is easily bypassed and removed, so its possible that its removed, technically u shouldnt be able to top out 4th (on a manual) which i have never tried, cause those speeds on the road are a little bit stupid u know ...
-
well count urself lucky, if the ecu let u do that, u would soon have no turbo, and possibly more problems, 12psi is within the limits, possibly even 11psi, push it more and ur asking for some trouble
-
huh, i personally wouldnt go over 11 psi to be safe with a bigger intercooler 13 is to much for stock turbo

R33 (ecr33) M-spec Parts
Coupe-This replied to Coupe-This's topic in For Sale (Private Car Parts and Accessories)
bump, make an offer, they are taking up what little room i have -
hoorah !!! great news there !!!
-
yes but 205 being the tyre width, not the rim width...
-
Did n/a's come out with 17's and 255 wide tyres as a factory option. That is fantastic, i think he actually wants the rim size The logical size would be 15x6 especially if they have 205's on. I am not 100% certain on this tho, just seems logical.

An Idea On Relocating The Air Filter
Coupe-This replied to SuAvE-1's topic in Engines & Forced Induction
i was going todo this setup on my vl, never quite got around to making all the piping up, i think the cops arent that stupid, and would follow the piping down, and it would actually still get wet, water ... and dirt -
I found a good cheap boost controller for $22!!!
Coupe-This replied to CEF11E's topic in Engines & Forced Induction
Cant you just use ur right foot to control boost? if u want two different settings i would suggest you get a different setup. Something with a high/low switch or something like that.
