ok the actual law in victoria you cannot increase the overall rolling diameter of the tyre greater than 15mm. and 25mm wider. Now saying this, most people have illegal rims and tyres on their cars, its not something that is really enforced much but can be used to void insurance if they want to get picky on things.

i think most exhast shops will do stainless steel, best bet would to be ring around first. Try and find an exhaust shop that specialises in stainless steel exhaust systems, as specialists usually do better custom work with the specified material as they are better setup for it

depending what you get and what you want. 316 stainless steel is overkill on an exhaust. 316 is what we call food grade stainless steel, we make benches and anything that comes into contact with food out of 316. why do you want a food grade exhaust system will you be eating off the muffler tip? 304 isnt as good as 316, but look at the price tag. hehe, 304 is good enough for an exhaust system. wont rust, well it can, depends on the conditions, anything metal can rust. if you want to talk about shit stainless steel then talk about the 4xx series stainless where you can stick magnets onto it. Like what they make those stainless steel fridges and appliances out of. Thats shit quality stainless, and is mainly stainless in its appearance. As people have said stainless flows slightly better, drones, resonates more. people also tend to forget, stainless doesnt get as soft and expand and contract as much as steell either. Any capable workshop should be able todo the same with stainless as they can with steel. Its just easier with steel. I would pick stainless, im making my exhaust for the munro out of stainless steel. Will look awesome from under the car, and just easier. You can purchase seperate bends for them, unlike steel where u have to get a shop to literally make you some 45 and 90 degree bends. One thing i advise people not to do. Mix and match. The two steels will react with each other (electrolisis) and cause rust to begin. Oh and i know, i work with the stuff

how many kms can they last ? well as anything you will most likely know, the way you treat it, it will treat u good back. if its been serviced and well looked after, parts changed when recomended by nissan, turbo rebuilt and things like that, then there is nothing to say that this car wont last another 200thousand kms, just depends who buys it, how they drive it, if they mod it etc. Remember, once you start modifying a car, your putting more stress on the components therefore creating a shorter lifespan. ive known some of the aussie rb30's to kick past 500 thoasand with no probs

I think another of the main concerns on v8's supercharged and turbo charged vehicles is they know that all of these engines have much more hp easily acheived with a little bit of $$$ they are all dangerous and i dont care who you are, and what your previous driving record is. You have the power behind you, there will be times you will use it. Sometimes to overtake some one. Or othertimes just cause you feel silly. You think its safe at the time. But its never really safe on the street. I've done my fair share of stupid things on the roads, resulting in my licence being cancelled for 12 mths. But the thing is. I could have killed some one, or could of lost control and killed myself. Speed and power really dont have any place on the roads at all. Really, why do we need anything more than a 2litre n.a?? you need to get to the next set of lights that 1 second faster than everyone else ? Hmm, i dont beleive so. keh, unfortunatly the car was a damn straight and clean car. The drivers side mirror had a little bit of paint missing from the area closer to the car. There was a tiny, hard to spot dint on the wheel area on the drivers front ... the car has shit tyres on it to, and i mean shit, The car was parked in my carport, which makes it invisible from the road. I am a heavy sleeper unfortunatly and never heard a thing. I would have had full comp insurance if i could afford it. My work is a bunch of tite asses and dont pay me much So looks like ill be paying off a loan for a car i wil never see again ... things could be worse ... waits ...

Got home about 11 last night thursday the 24th of november, got up morning, didnt think it was any sort of a different day. went out to get lunch to notice my car not being there. Rang up my sister. Said my car wasnt there when she left, i was up until 1230 so the car had gone missing between 1230 and 11am the next morning. The plates on the car are swp-315, the front plate is a slimline and is offset to the drivers side, the front bar had been slightly modified although there is NO front mount intercooler hence there being a massive gap...which may stand out to some people. (refer to pic in sig) pictures here http://www.cardomain.com/ride/2130038 its a stock car, clean... stock rims, gtr spoiler, mspec bar and sideskirts, had a catback exhaust. ummm yeah ... car got stolen from malvern (who would have thought) im shaken up and pissed off as well
