something i'd be worried about would be things while drifting or curcuit racing would be feeling the weight of the car lean, and the g forces involved, it cld end up being a one handed affair, and then the people end up racing at a real track and come into grief ... there is no substitute for reality but hey, this mite make calder n heathcote charge less

cops are ghey, and always will be ... have to live with that, surely there are some good ones out there, cant say ive encountered any of them, ehehe, but these defect stations are good, and yet bad in the whole sence. Sure they will defect a car that is clearly illegal to drive on the roads, be it an old car or new car, or performance car. But if you come in ur skyline, u will get the whole yard, whoa, handbrake clicks to many times, meh, this thing, what ever it is, is illegal etc ... im sure they pick on different cars harder than others if i was a 40 + driver getting pulled over in a relativly new commodore/falcon. Im sure they wouldnt check the handbrake n other little insignifigant things. Btw, the handbrake is a real grey area, cops say 3 clicks, vicroads state as long as it secures the vehicle, ffs, my gf, took her brand new (at the time) 03 civic in to the dealer to tell them, my handbrake goes to high, and clicks to many times, they said, we leave them like that otherwise it just wears out the brake pads ... yeah ...

Sorry mate but your mechanic is wrong. The hybrid kit is not a copy of the blitz kit AT ALL. it uses a completely different piping setup, and for that reason, i would not waste my money on a genuine hybrid, as the piping setup makes it no better than hybrid copies, or the gktech kit. FYI: the blitz/arc kits for the R33 are in the $1300-$1500 price range, and use a completely different (better) piping setup than the genuine hybrid. The Gktech kit is not a hybrid copy...its a gktech kit, and thats what its sold as. The Gktech kit also comes with easy installation instructions

quite you, i have a blatant disrespect for the police officers of this state, sure i realise there are your good and bad cops within victoria. But when my skyline had been stolen i rang the cops, they were supposed to come around check out shit etc, nope, got a phone call. Then a week later i rang them to see what they were doing, the answer i got was. If no one calls in an abandaned car, yeah pretty much f**k all. turbo, uni, p plates hmmm wot state are u in? ring up, get insurance quotes, make sure u can afford 98 ron petrol, n change for things that go wrong + upgrades

well balance section first of all. In all v configuration engines, one bank (side) always runs hotter and flows more than the other, just creates a more even note. A performance exhaust will have an x pipe in it. Look at all the holden/ford dual systems for there newer cars, they all have H pipes in them. They are just refered to as balance pipes. Dont go buy one, just get to 45 degree bends, cut them 1/3 of the way in, and weld them together. The best bet with stainless would be to go for grade 316 as it will handle the heat alot better, will cost a little bit more though. What size mufflers are you after? 2.5 inlet/outlet or ??? www.tuffcarparts.com is where im getting the mufflers from. They are not listed on the website, but send an email and he will give you all the information you need.

how is he making the exhaust ... recomendations would be to not do a H balance pipe but instead use an x pipe configuration. I am in the same boat as you and will be making a full custom stainless twin system for my hz gts. Pretty simple todo. Ive been told hooker mufflers give a good note and flow well, ive also been told lukey are the only mufflers to go for. Are the mufflers going to be stainless or just steel mufflers. I am going for the hooker mufflers as they are 100 each for 2.5 inlet and outlet and are stainless. If they turn out to be no good, well i will just get some lukey mufflers and put them on. My exhaust probaly wont be getting done for a month or so though. So i cant tell you results. Good luck with it tho. Pm me if u want any more specifics that i will be doing/using.

i think you mean all the r&d cost them that much to build the prototype, and the car they sell would cost remarkably less. they would infact be making a profit on the cars, although they may never recoup all their r&d costs, but most of the time car companies dont build cars like these to recoup costs, they do it to say, hey, look what we can do

well for starters ring up insurance companies and ask them, secondly goto www.carsales.com.au n find out how much the cars cost tranfer fees are 25 dollars and 4% of total cost this in vic do some rsearch, most of these questions differ from state to state ... specify what state your in, and do some research yourself you slack ass .... sounds like u have no idea. and are just wasting everyones time anyways ...

bad luck mate, i know wot its like, not to ur degree but i had my immac r33 stolen from my driveway/carport, uninsured etc ... hurts but meh in the end its a car ... rather have that gone than friend/family
