both cars are pretty gay, sure we can make them go fast, but you can make anything go fast, i hate ppl that put threads up like this, get off your f*kn ass, go look at a couple in the same condition, take them for a drive, go over them thoroughly and make a desicion ffs. the r31 will most likely have less rust, out performs a vl 114kw to 121kw or something. the engine is mounted better in the r31. But i honestly dislike the interior of an r31, been in one, several times, ive had a vltc, easy mods, good quick car (made 161rwkw with just a 3" tubo back exhaust) vl is more likely to be raped and in worse condition, and if u find a really good condition turbo in either vl or r31, u will be paying through your nose. why dont you just go buy an excel that is a couple of years old, put a wrx bonnet scoop on it, massive muffler with a 5" tip, and stfu ...

Hey guys, seeing as i dont own a skyline, and going out cleaning due to my holidays, i have come accross 5 litres i have left over of motul 8100 X-cess SAE 5w40 100% synthetic oil. I used this on my skyline and it was excelent. I paid about $58 for this, but im just after $50, there is also a little bit left over in another container which if the person wants, can have. Im located in melbourne, close to the city.

thats awesome, and not only loose the case, but also get a canery on the car because of the faulty speedometer, , its the owners/drivers responsibilty to make sure its working correctly and to fix it immediatly it would be like cop pulls u over for have no rear brake lights oh thanks officer i didnt know they were out cop ... yeah no worries here is ur fine i'd go fix them now etc ... hehe the car in its current state is in fact unroadworthy.

silly silly silly boy, late at nite, when cops see a car, they are gonna eagle eye it as there isnt much traffic late at nite. Your more likely to get pulled over for no reason to. What your cop mate said is totally legit they dont have to provide you with any evidance. They wil say we were pacing u for x amount of time ant x speed, here is your fine, have a nice day. There is a certain amount of distance they have to test your speed tho. Its not like whoa looks like he is speeding lets get him. Im sure they record it in their journals or what ever that x car got caught doing x kms over the speed limit. Thats just how it is. Im all for speeding fines and things. Speed cameras ... meh in certain spots, bottom of a hill n just dodgy places r gay. and useless spots like on the fwy to geelong or hume, etc. i try not to speed, i do tho, and i wont be happy if i get a fine. But what can u do. Although i hate fines u get for say 4 over the limit

Hey guys, was just reading a guys magazine at work the other day (forgot the name, will have to find out tho) But apparantly porsche are making a turbo that has a changing a.r This would initially mean that the a.r would be something tiny on idle, say .10 for arguments sake, once revs, and boost climbs the a.r would open up to well, the possibilities are endless ... 1.26 ? This would give awesome low end, mid end and top end. Apparantly they have been running these on deisels for a little bit of time now. Now getting onto the petrol scheme, i cant remember the name of the actual company that developed it with/for porsche. Would be great to see in the flesh !!!, just wondering how exactly they would do it. But then again, its another part to fail, damn cars ! hehe anyone know any more info/truth to this, will try and find out the magazine it was in tomorrow

ey paul, u mite wanna tell them what the price was hehe well i think 17x45x255 will cost u roughly 250 dollars, seeing as the prices i was getting for 18x35x255 were like 290 for the hankook k104's not a supreme performance tyre, u can get heaps better, but they are awesome bang for buck

Cheers well said, i couldnt agree with you more ash, some people seem to think you can drive on freshly wet roads, like completely dry roads. I see cars fishtailing commonly when it is wet. Try to be sensible, driving too slow can also be a bad thing todo. I have seen in front of my eyes, many stupid things, some resulting in accidents. In my experience, the best way to learn how a car can react is to try and learn its limits off the street. In a carpark, or just a sensibly safe place, some of you may say you shouldnt do that. But its always best to know how easily your car can slip out of control, how quickly it can aquaplane and understeer terribly. Keep good tyres on you car ... And just drive sensibly ... We want to make a good name for ourselves. Not just another HOON car catagory, we can only do this with sensible driving. All the best out there, stay safe
