ummm, dont skylines look damn hot to start with, so in general they go fast whilst looking good at doing it without much more done to the exterior apart from some rims, and lowering a little. Good shit

hey guys, anyone know where i can get a good reputable place to get some second handies throw onto my skyline ? (only using them to keep the car legal and till i get my rims) i dont want them to thrash my car, or hit my damn bumper bar at all. I would prefer driving it in myself sorta thing. Any recomendations, lemme know, oh and i would of course prefer a full set, but been told its pretty hard to get em in a full set. thanks guys

yeah, im not really interested in getting a hybrid, esp a copy, sure they mite be cheap, but heard good things and bad things about both, I would rather buy a quality product and rest assure that it will most likely have no problems whats so ever. Also heard that those hybrids can then to make a whistle sound, i couldnt stand it if mine did that. And I want to put quality parts onto my r33. If i wanted a good cheap option, i could get a cut down truck core, and make some end tanks myself at work. But meh, I actualy want a quality product

i remember seeing an r33 gtst ages and ages ago, a few years at least, with the skyline logo on the back lit up a soft green color, surely its a aftermarket item.

Hey guys, i want a good decent jap intercooler to put onto my car. Now just wondering what my best option were, hks, trust, apexi, etc ... Also would you recomend buying a kit. Or just the intercooler, and getting a bit of custom piping?

yeah for sure its a sure win case, get some info from nissan as well, like give them the vin number and get them to give you the cars information, it may have also had a color change among other things. Especially if it says it on your receipt or tax invoice that the car is in fact a gtst and the file from nissan says otherwise, well you have something to shove in their as soon as they say it is in fact a gtst, and you will have printed documentation of it, and wont be saying things like, my mate said it wasnt. I honestly dont know how you found out, if u noticed it yourself, or there was something just wrong. But keepin it simple, Do as your lawyer said, and they will most likely not let it goto court, take it to a current affairs program also if you want. Although they mite turn it around and make it about skylines and imports are bad, mmmkay. anyways, good luck with the case. Keep us all informed !

where they advertising it as a gtst or gtst mockup for lookalike. Or were they just selling it as a gtst. Has the whole car actually been converted to gtst specs like brake, 5 stud wheels, turbo, etc etc. If you can find documented proof Ie sales ad on the internet or better yet out of the paper. Then you have a leg to stand on as they can be sued for fraud if you wanted to get serious. Best thing todo would be go talk to them, say your not happy, and get your money back. Otherwise things can get messy and expensive i thinks

Hey, i was bored at work, so i pinched some ones paper and went through it, found an autobarn catalogue, went through that (god knows why :s) and saw some blue drift filters that apparently have a lifetime warranty. You can get cleaning kits for them, like the k&n filters. Now i will be getting a pod filter in the near future (will be completely boxed off to prevent engine heat transfering into it) Now does anyone know if these filters are any good at all?

first of all, does it lose power from straight away, or when it hits boost, and does the car run rough when cold and get better once warmed up? need some more info mate also, does ur boost guage still read what it used to read? is it still boosting properly?

are you putting the diff in urself? I though hmmm may be hicas, doesnt look like it ... mite be something todo with abs or a speed sensor. Ring up an import workshop and ask a few questions, pretend that they are getting the job, but u want to know what diff to bring along hehehe

yeah dont worry about it, u wil still have like a good 50-60kms of driving to go, on a cold nite if it comes on and i cant be stuffed, i just leave it to the morning, no harm done, ive let it go really low, i think i pumped in about 58 litres, cant damn remember, but the light was still fading on and off. i found sitting at lites on idle, it will slowly come on, and when i take off steadily it will fade away. Weird.

well first of all, its an import from japan so dont trust the kms on the clock totally, go on the overall condition of the car, the interior, and exterior. You should be able tell if its been sprayed before, should be overspray some where on the car. But its the same as buying any car. Check for any signs of damage, dodgy repairs, listen to the engine, get it checked out by a mechanic or racv place. Ive heard they are particulary hard on imports. And try and have a look at the car on a hoist and make sure its not really two cars, make sure there is no oil leaking around the turbo, and if the owner has claimed mods, see all receipts and paperwork, we can all say, yeah this has been done and that, but not always the case. And get a dyno figure if he claims anything over 180rwkw or something, use ur own discretion. There is actually a sticky on this forum that tells u in detail what to look out for. happy hunting

y do u want a series 2 bar specifically, what about some of the aftermarker bars? gtr bar, etc. i think u have to change, bonnet lites and even possibly the two front guards. Is it worth it ?

i think u will find it at the hksusa website, do a search on the internet. If you look within australia its actually a evc 4. As america had one inbetween 2-3 so therefore an evc 5 is really just an evc 4 here. This is what hks have told me directly also. U may be able to goto www.hks.com.au email them and ask for a book, they may be able to email u a pdf or something of the sort. Happy hunting

Hey, i reckon a good idea for this site would be to put up a sperate page with all the skyline specifications, power, weight, turning circle etc. Then all the info would be on the page. Could also have the silvias, ceffy's stagea, and other imports possibly as well, supra, 300zx, rx's Just an idea. But i think it would be awesome

hondas + fart cannons = sore ears. I wanna smash the f**k out of them they drone like nothing else, and just make the shittest fart noise. Seriously they cant think it sounds good !! anyways, yeah, most of us choose not to be in traffic jams, so we cruise around, or do other exciting things. Well some of us And hondas are generally decent cars. Just most of them are a tad slow, i wouldnt mind an nsx tho

A couple of things, that wing, that wing does absolutely nothing for me, put the bloody gtr wing on if u want it looking like that ! The twin cannons. hmmm look like, a little bit odd, but i would need to see it in person. Alot of damn work has gone into it. At the end of they day, damn great thing he has done, something different. What he really needs on it tho, is a nice stroker kit, u reckon you could fit a twin turbo set up in there, hmmm hardly looks like it. But its not in vic, so i cant say. y would u put r31 gears onto a vl, i beleive they are the same ratio 3:45's what would be the point in that? as for the note, well the engine is mounted differently, different length manifold, all different bends, due to axle, and size, muffler and all those things play a part also. not tomention, 3 litre and a 2.5 litre

just have to get a front pipe made up tho, to connect to the dump supplied and the cat?

not to mention, couldnt u get an r34 gtt for roughly the same price as an s15? i dunno tho, *shrugs*
