Hey guys, i have recently purchased a new mspec front bar to replace my old one. Now my old bar simply has the indicator blinkers on them where as this new bar has the indicator peices along with driving lights situated next to them. Will i need a new combination switch to be able to use these? If anyone can help me out here it would be great

make the tyhphoon look like a barina? or makybe the fpv can blow its clutch and the holden will blow its engine and they can both roll accross the line? heh in all realness, i heard one of the contributing factors that put the monaro to rest is that the yanks are making their own gto's now, hence the export factor gone. And if your talking about holden making something along the lines of an aussie corvette then im bored already

Dont forget ppl, those figures are proclaimed, The cars can never really do them. well even if they do, its pretty difficult to replicate

Some 'general' questions about R33 GTS's
Coupe-This replied to micky b's topic in R Series (R30, R31, R32, R33, R34)
well here are a couple of your answers. 1 . Yes they are all imports, i am pretty sure there are no locally delivered r33 gts' 2 . They are pretty reliable, just like all cars, depends on the life it had before you, and how well its been treated and serviced. 3 . Just get a manual, can you drive one properly? There is no point in buying an auto r33 if u plan on selling it in a year, its a waste of money, all the transfer fees, and the money you will lose on the car itself. 4 . No, try the trading post -
why dont u try greddy directly? find their webpage, email them, and go from there, or even try autobarn, or anything ... greddy directly would be better tho
-
bah, i tried recording it and its so damn muffled :'(, cant get my hands on a decent mic unfortunatly ... And the muffler will be going on it tomorrow. Well hopefully tomorrow anyways, ha !

skyline vs commodore = who would win?
Coupe-This replied to liner32's topic in General Automotive Discussion
Yuck, I hate VT's that have the monaro style tail lights, doesnt suit the boot lights, its just plain wrong... That said, holdens powerplants 3.8l Buick (Shit oil leaking pile of garbage) 304 4.9l V8 (Decent V8 that holden made) 350 5.7l V8 (early models are plaugued with probs, not so bad now tho) the buick has a bit of poke to it, esp if they are manuals, never driven a 304 or 350. 304 prolly same power as a line, but a fair bit more torque, but more weight, and the 350, well more torque and power, so a more even match if not the commodore ontop. -
Want a new front bar for r33, but something different
Coupe-This replied to damono's topic in Exterior & Interior Styling
how about u get one for the 180 and stupidly modify it to fit on ur car, so ur car looks unique. And ummm, not so good looken either, meh ... whats wrong with the stock parts, if ur after uniqueness, then you got the wrong car. Just my opinion tho -
haha, alot of cars do sound nice, each to their own, each engine has its own unique note, ie, ford and holden 5litres have different notes. Anyways, i dont wanna piss off the neighours atm, and ive been flat out at work, but should get it recorded tomorrow
-
yeah tell me about it btw, just a note on your name, i've seen a red rx7 series 6 going around with those plates, one oh so sexy car ! U know it at all?

Hey guys, well im waiting for my new muffler for my old school HZ GTS Monaro, the old was is completely rusted out on the inside, causing a massive choke in the system, not good for a car whatsoever. Anyways, after painstakingly taking it off, ive decided it should always be off, if only for the law. The thump the thing makes is almost frightening, for a lightly modified 5litre. Anyways, i think ill grab a sound bite and post it up here. Just for those who appreciate other sorts of cars.

First car? and what was yours?
Coupe-This replied to liner32's topic in General Automotive Discussion
1986 camira, was the best v8 killer, if the v8 wasnt turned on that is. ha it was literally a peice of shit, it seazed with 140000 on the clock, ***n peice of shit, my second car was a vltc, and i was still on my p's, although insurance was a whore to say the least. Best thing to think of buying a first car in my opinion is not power, not expereinced enough to handle the power, well thats my opinion. And it all depends on your taste, if u like skylines, why not buy an asperated line, then upgrade when the time comes. -

Coupe-This replied to Coupe-This's topic in R Series (R30, R31, R32, R33, R34)
its really hard to explain, and does anyone recomend an import yard in melbourne, preferably the s.e suburbs? i drive a 95 series 1.5 r33 gtst will post up tomorrow how it happened. Hopefully it all does go smoothly, i did think about the front cut option also, would still need to get the parts painted tho. sux to hear also jar, hard to get thru it all nice and smoothly. So hopefully it all goes well, its my b'day at the end of this month, so ill start hinting to my parents, lol -
Today whilst driving, i had a bit of an accident, now as far as i know to this time, the accident is going to be 50/50. now in saying that, its sort of can be said that i do not have full comp. The damage is roughly 4k, :'( and its sort of going to stretch the budget a bit, well alot. ill need a pair of headlights, bonnet passenger front guard, reinforcement bar, mspec front bumper ... im poor

Do you drive a manual or an automatic car?
Coupe-This replied to TracidTrax's topic in General Automotive Discussion
Manual for me, its more fun, and i think you have more control over the car, around corners, how you want to power your car, and you just have more feel for the car, i've had 4 cars, 1 auto, it was a v8, so yeah ... ill always love my manuals, well until i am like 60 and just cant be stuffed !
