zomg stop sucking up, like ash said, he may say something and it may be right, them some one else will come in and say something different, and argue with ash, then some one else will come in and just throw a fireball in here to try and get more drama out of it. I beleive the most appropriate measure would be make friends with all the local police, then u will only get dicked if ur doin something more stupid. Ie burnouts, power slides etc ... In all seriousness though ... call up the local police station and just query them, they dont have to know who you are ... your just a citizen trying to find out your rights and the current law.

luck of the draw, in all honesty i havent really come accross any decent cops. Drive a stereotyped hoon car and be f**ked over as often as they can. I used to own a vl turbo ... i have been pulled over twice or more ... in the one day ... when i had my r33, never got pulled over once ... not once ... now in my munro, i barely even get looked at, i have had cops do a uturn just to follow me and pull me over, and follow me for 15 minutes before pulling me over ... and now, its incredibly loud, anyone that knows me, have most likely heard the car ... just agree, the sooner they are done the quicker u can go on ur merry way. and yes they do take pictures of things these days, just so people cant change things and go, i dont even have that mod on my car etc ... or something like that ... evidance if u were to put it ...

ive towed close to 2 tonne with my munro ... pulled the shit easily ... just make sure what ever u get the towpack is adequately fitted and correctly rated ... get something like a ford or holden, and if u get an auto put a shift kit in it, a trans cooler just to help it

i want my v8 with around 250 - 270 or so when im done with it, its crap enough in the wet now with traction issues ... stupid torque, u dont need it

there are so many grey spots when it comes to wheels 1 inch wider yes, but the trackwidth cannot change. Ie i can point to alot of peoples cars on this forum who only have 17's but are infact illegal. and there is also the fact that its 2" bigger than the largest rim that came out from factory for that model, vrx come with 16's i think. then there is the whole i can be 15mm larger in rolling diameter. So u can put really big rims on, tiny rubber, as long as the rolling diameter remains 15mm or under your fine. Best to ring an engineer and sort through it with them. Oh, and just cause you have an engineers report, they can still defect you for that particular item, its just easier to clear ... load of crap if you ask me

no worries, some sizes are easier to get off the shelf also standard 3 inch and 4 inch are easy to get, not to sure about 3.5 inch all depends what he wants, ive made an exhaust out of 90 degree and 45 degree bends easy enough

you will also find alot of them do it illegally, simply because it is illegal. if people are so concerned with trying to convey a good imagine about a car club, dont contact the media, since when have u seen a story on t/t portraying only good, there is always an evil. The police have had operation drag where they have taken police cars down the quarter. Why dont we try and contact the police and take them to a deca day, to see pictures of the club comittee/president along side. Also seeing a police car sliding out sideways on the skidpan would be a hell of a site. This could be seen as a good image. You can only try, expect alot of closed doors though.

yep, thats surely the answer... god ur a moron, i unfortunatly have to drive past this area sometimes to get home... yep, good ol me innocently driving home, uh oh, impounded car for trying to get home from a friends house or from my parents house ... man ur a champion ... why hadn't the police done anything about this sooner before the crowds escalated in massive numbers, perhaps when there were only 50 - 100 ppl. The best maintanance is preventative maintanance, not busting ur ass to fix it when its completely f**ked

Without clicking on the link ash, all i can say is calaisturbo.com is an enthusiast site ... for hoons pretty much, used to be a member when i had my vl, they are a disgrace to a car club, hence y they arent affiliated with cams or anything. It sort of makes you wonder if the police were intimidated by the number of people there ... Noble park maccas hasnt been going for months, its been going for years ... even when i got my licence 7 odd years ago, it will die down now ... wait a few months and start to come back again.
