  1. I'm with you JiMiH, $20-$30 then YES! This $55 bullsh*t is too much..... most car clubs have $25-$30 for a Dyno day, and have 2-3 runs I vote for Late Janurary... I haven't even got my car yet!!
  2. Got finance OK last friday, 99.99% of the deal happened Monday, the rest should happen today
  3. cool, i wont need one for a few weeks anyway, was just doing preliminary research.... PM me when your ditching it
  4. hahahha, next cruise i'll be there with Bells on! i promise I wont rear-end anyone next time! and as soon as the final 0.1% of the deal is completed I'll post specs/details and the like
  5. would I be ear-to-ear smiling if I was only wishful thinking ??
  6. Hi guys, about this whole TT business, what is the best turbo timer ? Keep in mind all it has to do is idle the car, it's got to be affordable (reasonable quality) It has to be small, the less noticable the better. It seems like a pretty simple device, can I just jump on down to Jaycar and pick up a Kit one for $30 ? That way i'd only have a trimpot showing on the dash, and nothing more. What TT do you all Have ? -Kym
  7. not that I heard of, we before everyone else tho.

  12. Believe me, there's nothing i'd like more than a 32GTR, but the hassle i went through to get finance, it's 33 or bust for me... ... plus i have this magical thing called a "Shortfall" on my current boat.... So a dealer is the only way.
  13. Yes, and Yes.... Stay tuned, I'll keep you all posted... hopefully with GOOD news
  14. Yep that would be David, ex Street Weapons owner/proprietor. He left Fibrevision a while ago... He painted/touched up some of the Panel's on Skye's Purple 32 GTR. And I'm with you seriesIIgtst... -Kym
  15. does SAU WA have a PO Box ? would be interesting to see a reply to that second one!
  16. A write up ? where to begin?! Okay, let me just get this out in the open and tell everyone now... I'm a tool! Had a little nudge with Bryan (gunmetal gtst) at Burswood at the roundabout.. I was just accelerating out of the "casino loop" part of the cruise, to go back onto GE Hwy..... up to the roundabout... I thought he was going through as there was a car waiting to the right... but I was wrong.. A little too fast I was.... ... so basically didn't have enough time to stop.... brakes locked up (VERY suprised at that, never happened before to me) and I nudged Bryan's rear. Albeit relatively slow at the time of impact, still enough to scratch the rear. A few very minor scratches to both cars.. nothing serious, I spoke with Bryan and apparently they polished out I did hit his exhaust though, which left a nice ring on my fron bumper... there was some damage where the pipe meets the resonator, most likely needs a small tack weld to fix it up. So there you have it. I'm a UNIT. but for the same token, very lucky that no more damage was done. Bryan, you've been a champ about it all! I woulda been spittin' chips! Legend. Send me the bill for the exhaust and i'll fix you up! So there's my story. -Kym.
  17. thanks mate...i often talk to myself anyway... mainly compliments but still... then again, people do talk alotta sh*t hey, I heard one chump talkin about how long his aerial is, and how he "talks sh*t" about "talking sh*t" to anyone that will listen...

  19. oooh oooh!! I have one! What channel are we using ? Dont tell me it's going to be a debate on 32 or 33 again ???
  20. oh, be NIIICCCCE!! let's not tease joe... .. I wonder what the guy was thinkin as Joe pulls a camera out while driving and starts taking snaps.... hmmm... i smell a stalking lawsuit! go Joe!
  21. I'll vouch for the "tracing around the carpet" idea.. I did this in my sonata to construct a new boot floor. and it works a charm, i user 12mm MDF, sturdy as a rock! I sunk my amp into the tyre well, flush with perspex and neon's to the floor. I then had the 2x12's facing the back of the car, pretty much where the flimsy battery cover thinggy is in the Skyline.... Don't forget to secure the MDF to the boot floor. Velco still lets it move around a bit and didnt work for me... I just used countersunk self-tappers, then carpeted over it all in light grey.. looks the sh*t too If your going to use a sub in there, ply wood is ghey, it's too thin and rattles VERY easily... Good luck guys.. -Kym
  22. I tend to disagree... I can clearly hear the bass difference when the subs are upright and the front of the sub facing the front of the car, in comparison to having the subs right at the back of the boot, laying down.. Much better like that.... .. i think there's an ideal layout -- As far back as possible, flat down ?
  23. Hell, I park my car opportunely all the time.. Next to a concrete pole - Only ONE numbnut that can dent your car Next to a disabled bay - AMPLE clearance on one side. In a single spot between two concrete colums (underground) Right at the END of the carpark, next to a kerb -- One numbnut equation again or If i'm going to sticksville, i'll park in 2 spaces on purpose. especially if there's SHITBOX cars either side.. just my tips
  24. Yeah, what is an ITC ?
  25. BWHAHHAHAHA I'm still laughing... Bubba is the ultimate "Prison Pimp" name!!
