Take a look at this, I went to install my RSM yesterday, and found that there had previously been a device spliced into the IGN POWER and RPM wires coming from the ecu. There was a big bundle of wires wrapped in black tape I unwrapped and came across this brown plug, it looks to be spliced into the ECU, but "blocked off" and not in use. Does it look familiar to anyone ? -Kym

Don't forget to mention RAC dont insure imports anymore! So there's no point sayin RAC are cheaper... they dont accept new policies! I was stung like that too....Famous are the ONLY people in Perth to insure me

oooh!!! YES! This is exactly what I wanted to do, but have them as park lights! I bought 2 WHITE 6000mcd LEDs from Jaycar, and some matching resistors... Behind the fog light bit is a small rubber elbox, pull that off and there's enough diameter to squeeze an LED in it! BINGO! Hooked the LEDs up to the parker circuits... works... Like Joe said, they are the size of a pin and dont give out much light. I want to drill into the back of them to allow more light through, but couldnt get that indicator assembly out to do it. I'm going to give it another shot on the weekend. However, the white leds look awesome already -Kym.

Okay, Bought my blue screen (read: Riceboy-blue) Apexi RSM yesterday. Installed it as per manual. Followed Wiring diagram A (the one WITHOUT doing the speed cut) used the correct wires from the ECU, but it only half works! I don't get a SPEED reading, however, revs, battery, and alll that other crap works. But the thing is useless if it doesnt have a speed thing right.... has anyone here installed one ? it's as simple as splicing the wires onto the ECU right ? (there's only 4) or am I not following the right diagram ? Anyone ? -Kym.

ahhh, reminds me of the time I got flashed by a speed camera at night... the infamous red flash... The operator was standing like 8metres behind it holding a radar gun and what looked like calibrating the device. It flashed at me... no ticket ever made it to my letterbox... and i was PLUS 20+ over SCORE!

nah nah, dont be sarcastic, what I meant was I think the Blitz is st00pid and faulty, as boost comes on harder/quieter now too... probably was leaking... still got that bubbling noise too tho... but LESS now that both BOVs are connected. The Blitz is on a custom pipe to the IC, so how would I go about removing/blockin it off ? Anyone got a spare stock pipe they could lend me ?
