  1. Fat bastid size Paul!!!! ha ha Depends, I like them oversized so maybe a XL?? Cheers Brett
  2. News Update. New Fuel pump is on the plane over here so should have the car ready for PAS, but defo not for this sunday.. Paul have we got Lloyd's ok to lodge the application forms next week after collecting them on Sunday?? Cheers Brett
  3. Pentae, I have an R33 GTR. I bought it over a 32 mostly because I had a 96 gtst and didn't want to go backwards (age mostly) and prefered the 33's looks. They are bigger than the 32's with more room inside but it comes down to what you like the most. I couldn't find a decent 32 when I was looking so opted for a 33.. Plus my number plates have R33 in them so I had to have one to keep the plates from being stupid!!!!! ha ha ha Yeah the 32's brand new were quicker but remember that most of them have done more kms' than most 33's so they should be pretty even these days... Brett
  4. Paul, won't know when the car will be ready for a few days, probably won't be done by the 5th. Will still be there and hope to talk steve into doing my car before PAS for the same price... Brett
  5. Hey Guys, Am looking for any pics you have of R33 Midnight Purple GTR's with R34 GTR rims fitted. Or if you don't have that then any pics of an purple R34 with said rims will be great. Post em here or email to me at: [email protected] Cheers Brett

  11. Hey Guys and girls, Yeah I know this should be in the for sale section but for two reasons I am posting here and asking that the thread is not moved.. 1. because I don't want to have to deal interstate and 2. it's more an expression of interest at the moment. Ok here it is. I currently have a set of Deep dish 18 x 9" two piece Impul RS polished rims on my GTR. These are in excellent condition save for one tiny scratch on one rim. They may fit a GTST I'm not sure but if you are interested we can trial fit one and see.. They are a different PCD to a skyline but come with original Impul converter plates. I'm unsure of the true PCD so they may fit Toyota's etc I don't know but could find out if you are interested. They currently have a set of Goodyear Eagle F1 GSD3's which have done about 5,500kms and in mint condition. I still owe money on these tyres so want to keep them but if you really want them we can work something out. The reason for selling them is because I have found a set of R34 GTR rims I have always wanted at a great price.. So the price I am asking for is as follows: Rims alone @ $2,500 ono. (this site lists 17"s two piece at $600USD each. http://www.jspec.com/altian1.html) My rims are the same as the ones in the pics, but have the spokes polished as well as the lip. Taka list 16" one piece RS rims at $528USD each). Rims and Tyres @ $4,000ono. The GSD3's cost me $620 each and have just had their 5,000km balance. Really sticky tyres with good wear rate and very low road noise. I will not seperate and would prefer to keep the tyres but will sell if you really want them.. Pics:
  12. I'm easy Paul, give me a ring when ya have them and I'll come get em... Cheers Brett
  13. And whether we can collect the entry forms on the dyno day and lodge them the next day.. Do we have enough entrants to do an outside display as well?? Who is organising that? What 'props' are we going to use for the inside display?
  14. Paul, I'm gonna really need a good idea on how much it's gonna cost to run this display. Funds are really tight at the mo with the new bits purchased and my o/s holiday coming up.. Got any idea what each entrant is gonna be up for??? cheers Brett
  15. I got one from the NZ place when I had my old GTSt. They are useless except for a laugh at some of the translation... The only good thing they told me was how to close my sunroof if the buttons stop working.... Alas I left it in the car when I sold it so hopefully MattyB got it otherwise the car dealer is a crook and pinched it!!! ha ha ha
  16. Agree wholeheartedly, if the factory PFC software was available in english it would be a much more rounded package with even less flaws it currently has... Still, if Steve could hire a Japanese speaking (reading) mechanic and we can somehow get the software from Japan we are in business lol
  17. An arguement which could go on forever depending on which ecu you prefer. No doubt the Wolf is gaining popularity, but PFC would still have more users atm, may change in the future who knows.. Like someone else said most shops shy away from Wolf (some won't do PFC either) because they prefer other stuff. More shops will suggest PFC over wolf which probably explains the higher users.. Though more and more shops are telling you to go for Autronic or Motec (read shitloads of money)... 6 of one half a dozen of the other IMO
  18. I think if you polled the number of PFC users compared to Wolf users the stats would tell you otherwise.. For mild to mid modded cars either one is more than capable, but once you start getting serious most people don't use either of these. How good is the standard maps in the wolf? Is it as plug and play as the PFC??? Brett
  19. Stock BOV won't make any sound and stock cooler won't be seen from the front. Race her and find out if it's a turbo!!!
  20. Paul, I'm running 700cc injectors with a PFC and I've heard of cars that run 1000cc injectors with it. Not sure what you consider large injectors but they are plenty big enough for anybody out there They both have their pros and cons. Tuning for the PFC is now a lot easier and better with the Datalogit as Steve has said, and stuff like antilag isn't for street use anyway. Air temp correction is available using this too I believe. From everyone I've spoken to for street cars AFM's are better for driveability, MAP's are better for racing.. How many map sites do the wolf use?? PFC uses 20 x 20 AFAIK.. As others have said it's all about personal preference and depending on what your tuner likes may sway your decision... You can get brand new PFC's for around the $1,400 mark now.. my 2c. Brett
  21. Paul, Front and back for me. Cheers Brett
  22. put me down for a set too paul...
  23. Hey guys, happy birthday Bam...
  24. Amaru, Talk to Mark Sharp from Bansai Motorsport in Queensland. He deals in good second hand turbos. I bought my 2530's off him last year for $3,400 and were in mint condition with the matching HKS Dumps. He has a new shippment in now.. Number is 0405193215 Tell him Brett Hackett from Perth sent ya...
  25. Can the cop who pulls you over do a 'random' roadworthy test on your car which would mean you have to pop the bonnet?? Cheers Brett
