Mike the answer to your question Do Stagea need to be de-gassed? No Stagea's do not need to be re-gassed as they have R134A gas already Only cars coming in with the old R12 gas need to be de-gassed and re-gassed with R134a.

I bought this cluster to try and fit it to my series 1, but have since sold the car and have a series 2 instead now From what I can tell, the wiring is different between the series 1 and 2 for the auto gear selector So it would take a bit of playing around to get it to work on a series 1 I have attached photo's below of the series 2 cluster and series 1 for comparsion You will have to make your mind if this is possible Otherwise if your series 2 cluster is not working, you can buy this one Km reading 97,032 km It cost me approx $250 to get it from Japan I will take all offers
-
Well, I got the part yesterday and it is not the clutch pedal, but it was the bracket that the pedal and master cylinder bolts to It should be just a case of removing the foot brake bracket and bolting this new one in Will go to Nissan and try to get the clutch pedal now.

Stagea Parts Needed Asap
darrinspencer replied to performance-wise's topic in Four Door Family & Wagoneers
I would think the S1 and S2 would be different, as the head lights are, so the mounting points will not line up At this stage, I am not sure if I can just change the top part of the support. The masa kit photo only shows the top bit which is only approx $120-130? from nissan for a R34. Have you tried nissan for a price? Get on to Alex for some part numbers, that way you will know for sure Metro Nissan in Brisbane are pretty good for import parts, or you could order direct from www.japanparts.com It will be at least 2 months before I get to mine. -

Recaro Seats In A Stagea
darrinspencer replied to darrinspencer's topic in Four Door Family & Wagoneers
I have been speaking to Jake32 and he has R34 GTR seats in his 260RS. They bolt straight in as do R32 and R33 GTR seats. R34 GTT seats do not as the R34 GT 2WD has a different floor pan. Jake32 said that the GTR seats sit a bit too low. He did admit he is a bit short to see over the bonnet You can not just un-bolt the rails from any of the factory Nissan seats and re-use them on aftermarket seats You will need to use the Recaro/Bride rails to suit. I have noticed that the Stagea Recaro/bride rails sit higher than the R32, R33, R34 rails. Terminal hope this helps Gtr seats are one of the best factory seats for comfort and handling, I had a set before in my R32, but I am yet to see a set that have been re-covered that look any good. That is why I was leaning towards the Recaro. -
