  1. I stumbled upon a mine gold !! you can't put money on the research here by all. will add my 2 cents once my project is completed. g25-660 0.92 OR G30-660 0.83, haven't got a clear idea where to head, wil continue the search but figured I thank you ALL
  2. Mine reads around 4 constant when warmed, higher than 5 when cold. However oil used is 20w50 from previous owner, thats why. Will change to fully synthetic 15w50 in the coming days. What surprised me also, the owner uses a 2jz oil filter.
  3. This is why I love forums, although ppl are moving away from them. A new r34 owner and digging around in this forum from posts around 2005, this amazes me and will contribute as i can. Where did everyone go? Maybe got married and have kids now, probably sold their skylines to teen drifters haha.
  4. Just bought me a r34 gtt, owner uses Fuchs 20w50 dino here (whaaat) however, pressure and temps are all fine, never exceeds 110c picture is attached. So might change to 15w50 fully synthetic or whatever synthetic, whats the thought? Location: Deserts of the Middle East Around 350-400hp
  5. Hey everyone !! Firstly would like to express my many thanks for all the topics and info available here that helped and guided me through the past year and 2 months searching for my dream car. Finally here it is, a 1999 R34 GTT, 5 speed Manual, RB25 neo. With some awesome modifications.. The one issue is the owner uses 20w50 oild for middle eastern weather, where I'm located. Thinking of changing to 15w50 See you around everyone, FINALLY
  6. Unfortunately we cant UNLESS it is LHD, so we gotta do that, lol.
  7. Man tough call honestly, I mean you like the car and I know this from the time/money spent on it from your side. I say study it well and see whats ur best options. I'm afraid from your situation that one day I wake up and say I dont want my R34... [emoji26] I say do a proper diagnosis of the engine and take it from there. Best of luck.
  8. Pictures attached are all for LHD GTTs with the rb25det Neo some modified and some stock. Will be pulling the trigger on one of them depending on deal/cleanness/history/record...etc Here in Saudi, you cant register RHD as a daily and you can only register it as a classic and can't drive it around. Cant wait...
  9. Hey all, First of all, I would like to send my appreciation to all in this site. Currently in the process of buying my GTT R34 and man this site was too helpful from all aspects. As a thank you I became a member to increase my knowledge and share what I know and be part of the luv. My name is Mohammad, Middle East, Saudi. See you around the forum, Peace.
