  6. Hey guys, thanks for all the info, i think i'm a bit better informed after your contributions. I should've mentioned before that the car is a 1990 GTS-t skyline, so no airbag requirement there. Judging from the replies here I think its going to need at least a day spent on it to get it ready for the pits. And as for welshpool, I can't really agree on their kindness, I would have to say East Perth is the best, but thats just me. blacky
  7. Forum rules PhatR32 - No rubbishing workshops publicly. Other reasons also. Cheers
  8. Hi guys. I have a new car that I'm pitting next week, and I'm a little hazy on what is going to be ok and what isn't, its been about 9 months since my last import. So, here's what I need info on: 1. Intake mods - I was sure it was one intake-related mod only - this car a pod filter and an aftermarket FMIC. Where do I stand? 2. Gauges - We have four extra. 3 in the dash above the glovebox (Air/Fuel, Exh Temp, and unknown) plus a boost gauge on the left of the dash surround (not in drivers FOV). The boost gauge is easy, can just take that out but don't really want to take out the ones in the dash - Are they okay there, or will they have to come out? 3. General electronics - Turbo timer (will take out) stacker controller etc, looks very untidy and I'm thinking maybe it'll attract attention - should I take everything out to be safe, or just tidy it all up? 4. Fog lights - has 4!! should I remove them? 5. Momo pedals 6. Momo steering wheel - legal size, and no polished surfaces 7. Japanese "Drift" gloves stuck over various things in the engine bay... Thanks in advance guys, helping me too much here Blacky
  9. Sorry for the lack of PM's atm guys, so many of you want them its hard to keep track of who's got one and who hasn't. More coming soon, but just to keep things up to date situation has not changed since last post. Blacky

  11. Thanks for all the interest guys, I'm really glad that I can at least let you know who they are so you can avoid any dramas. I agree on JapParts, they complied my Soarer (the replacement for my 'lost' R32) and were outstanding, Raj is very helpful. And don't worry guys, this issue is far from over legal action is proceeding. No way is this getting let go. We need more professional operators such as Nigel who respect people's cars and business. To give you all a more tangible image of my situation, heres what I came home to (this is before it was found covered in dirt and dust sitting under a hoist) Nice, hey... More PM's tonight to those who've asked. And if anyone knows the new owner can you let me know? Cheers, Blacky
  12. Hey guys, After cleaining my front windscreen with (i tihnk) a dirty rag, there are many very fine scratches in little bunches on the front and back windscreens. I've heard many theories including toothpaste, brasso, silvo, jewellers rouge, but can someone give a definite method that theyve used, and that works? The scratches are very small, about 1cm long each but many of them in concentrated patches. Cheers, Blacky
  13. Hey guys. To clarify without going into too much detail; they are a 15yr workshop. My skyline was being complied there, but was taken out illegally by someone at the workshop. Thinking they were a drift champion they lost control and smashed my car into a pole (severe damage). Like I've said right now I can't say too much here but I will get the PM's out to all those that have asked tonight. Blacky
  14. This thread is to notify anyone in Perth who is currently looking for compliance on their imported vehicle that there is an extremely unprofessional operator doing compliance work right now. Their standard of work is low and respect for customers vehicle's is similar, with my car being taken for a joyride without me knowing and involved in an accident suffering serious damage. The wreck has been on-sold to someone, apparently without my knowledge. Before this happened, the compliance work took a very, very long time and was never completed. As such, I never even got to drive my own car. I am not going to publish the workshop or it's owners name for obvious reasons. But if anyone is interested to know who this dodgy operator is please PM me and I will be more than happy to explain. Aside from myself, I know of at least 4 people who have suffered as a direct result of engaging this workshop's services. And if the new owner of my vehicle is reading this (you will know when you read the above) can you PM me- I may be able to provide information on the car that you may be unaware of. Don't get sucked in. Blacky
  15. FS - Set of (2) new intrusion bars to suit r32 Skyline. In 3 parts per bar so can be adjusted for size for a good fit. Bought for a two door, but could possibly fit a four door if size is the same. Asking $150 pickup, Perth. Selling as no longer needed. Ph: 0438 921 752 Cheers! Blacky
  16. thanks for the replys, two very different opinions... but any1 know of direct replacement items, from which cars? blacky
  17. Somehow my gts-t arrived from Japan minus its rear wiper, so i need to find a new one. Are there any wipers from other Nissans that would be a direct fit, as its a wee bit hard to find these around here. Hope this isnt a stupid question blacky
  18. Hey all, just a quick request for anyone living down freo way - any chance someone could take a couple of snaps of the cars down at Freo docks at the moment? Nothing dodgy, but I wanna know if my soarer is still sitting there or not. (and yes, I have already asked my broker... ) blacky
  19. Thought I recognized the doctors surgery. I've got a 92 Soarer about to go through SEVS, should be a fun experience based upon what everyone else has said. Did you get to keep all the goodies they took off? blacky
  20. Very nice ride! The colour is absolutely amazing. Would I be right in saying that those photos were taken at Kingsway? If so, maybe my r32 will be rolling near there soon, I only live 2 mins away blacky
  21. Just quickly, are they the original seats? Mine seems to have the same (judging by the headrest) but i've never worked out where the come from... blacky
  22. I've got the 2004 ADR CD. I ordered it late last year when I imported my RX7. What do you wanna look up Phat? blacky
  23. My broker also uses Tony at Motorworld, i never dealt with him directly but no problems ever arose and he was quite quick and helpful. Would even go out and take pics of the car if requested. blacky
