  1. Engine bay looks like its been swimming
  2. yeah just spoke to them and they don't do jzx81's.. Turning into a wild goose chase
  3. There should be no damage to the head if there wasn't any serious overheating problems, or the engine was run extremely lean and burnt out a valve or two. Swapping bottom ends is a waste of time IMO... Just sell the head off to someone keen on a RB30det conversion and find yourself a nice cheap complete rb25de
  4. level 60 Elven Hunter on Thunderhorn gets the ladiezzz...
  5. No lets modify both of them and see how long the diffs and gear boxes last
  6. I'm only going on the info I was given.. Is the place you speak of known for compliance work?
  7. I'm also at a loss as to what front swaybar I have.. There's a Cusco in the rear. Tried measuring the front with a ruler and seems to be around 26-27mm.. Clears rb25 sump. Looks a similar size to my mates front on his bog stocko laurel... Will 32 and 33 GTR fit in the front with no modification?
  8. Cheers guys, Boof what did you need to do with the wiring? anyone with limited electrical knowledge should be ok?
  9. Cheers bud, so factory brackets and vibration dampener thingie can be used?
  10. Yes they are... as a 'purple plate' import under SEVS There is apparently a company with a compliance pack called ISHE(don't know what these letter stand for) west of Brisbane.... Yet to find anymore info on them
  11. Thank you Craig, This is Jarryd who rang about the GX71 last week, looks like it won't be happening as my mate was wanting to road register the vehicle but long nose conversion breaches at least 4 ADR's Very grateful for your efforts and may still get back to you soon regarding another car on Don's Gallery Does anyone know who has a compliance pack for the JZX81?
  12. Would something with modifications pictured below be eligible to come through SEV's?
  13. Anyone have a stock DR30 turbo fuel pump lying around?
  14. The bike gangs you speak of are true bosozoku.. They also like to drive very loud hotted up N/A cars and generally cause a rukas.. Eventually the style caught on in more mainstream groups and now 'bosozoku style' or 'yankee style' has a bit of an underground following. Thats what I believe anyway.. This was the car I was hoping to bring in... Damn you ADR's!!
  15. D'oh I knew I shouldn't have moved back here from Taupo 7 yrs ago
  16. Both those FD's are beautiful
  17. There are 2 different sized ignitors... Whats the go there? earlier and later model S1?
  18. Nah just the long nose conversion.. Car is already built and still in Japan. Looks like a no go at this stage, wich is a shame because this thing was phat
  19. Yes, but obviously there is some grey area..
  20. Done a bit of googling and came up with nothing.. I basically need an engineer in SEQ that will pass a bosozoku long nose conversion.. Please include contact deatils if possible. Help appreciated!
  21. lol I get it now... Sorry your last sentence is a bit confusing
  22. Can you elaborate a bit on the 'engineering inspection'? btw If you look around you may realize there are much more hideous things on the road.. Part of the reason these cars are built is to stand out from the norm, but there will always be people who find security with conformity
  23. I've played Mafia and Godfather... Mafia wins hands down
