RB26 or a hks turbo conversion?

Recently i bought a second skyline, i thought to myself i need something that i can really work on, so i went out and bought a 96 GTS car is in excellent condition, now i thought to myself i either do a big turbo conversion or get a gtr engine in there. If i get a gtr engine id like to keep everything stock except the intercooler, boost and exhaust system and fool around with a new ecu. Whats cheaper? What is all ur opinions?

serious... sweet i will contact them asap hope this will be worth it, i can see massive potential , aiming for 11s with everything stock except , exhaust , intercooler, boost and ecu will be changed

Ok so i bought me a 2nd skyline a 96 GTS now compared to my 95 gtst its nothing rite now...but i plan to put a full house gtr engine in there, anyone thats done this? i need an estimate of how much i gotta spend i know the front cut should set me back around 7500 but is it really the best way to go? or should i get a half cut for like 5500 and save 2grand for other stuff? but my real interest is after lets say i get the full front cut which will include everything i need except injectors , fuel pump and a new clutch how much would it cost to get sum1 to setup my new gtr engine?

hehe money is no problem rite now, i know a mate whos dads a mechanic so i think i can get it a bit cheaper coz nothings free lol i dont mind headaches but im working on the ultimate sleeper i want people to be scared of this GTS, if all else fails i cud sell the car and just go back to upgrading my gtst and use all the money to transform that into a beast with a huge single thanks for the link will keep u all posted

Hey does anyone have "decent" pics of their heatshield around the pod filter, or a quick diy for something similar, coz i dun wanna get slapped with a defect =S damn cops!

nahh i bought a full pioneer system , 12" sub , 6x9s , 6" components , amp and deck as a package so no point having the 6x9s lying around mite as well use em

Is it possible to put 6x9s in my skyline? Some asian **** told me today it cudnt be done....

my mate just bought a 96 gts (rb25de), i told him he's an idiot coz cud have gotten a gtst for an extra grand but he says he wants a full house gtr engine lol, so what are the specs of this engine? i know it makes around 130 - 147 kw anyone know the stock 60ft and 1/4 mile times?? He shud race my gtst makes around 210rwkw which is ok considering havent spent more than 5 grand on the car. So yeah how does it compare in the 60ft and 1/4 mile times? Anyone have some actual figures?

well i want that sound from a bov only lol, =) got a pod (K&N) though, just need time to fit it sometime this week i think, u reckon the trust type r or type s, makes that sound?

pod filter? i got rb25det so i derno if it depends on that man, how does the pod filter help the sound dude? seen many rb25's wit different bov sounds

sup all loooking for a bov that sounds like "chhh chhhh chhhh..." (LOL =S ) well yeah i dunno wat brands have ones that make that kinda sound so its more like the bov sound the r34 in 2fast 2 furious makes. Kinda like its rattling or something any help will be greatly appreciated. ta
