  1. the dude that quoted 150km - 200km for synergy 8000... wtf? thats 65L for those 200kms, ~3L per km geez, ive always used 8000 and always get upwards of 350kms a tank , + having mates at mobil i also get atleast 10bux free fuel a week which is like buying 8000 at less than a dollar a litre
  2. how can it do 1/4 mile in 12.8 and have a speed of 0 - 100 of mid 5's wtf , a r32 gtr is quoted at doing 0 - 100 in ~ 4.94 and have a 1/4 mile of 12.94
  3. is that just for the r34s? coz ive got 4ws (hicas) on my r33 gts and my gtst so *shrugs* wierd i would have imagined the r34 being newer and having better technology to atleast have hicas in the GT

  5. does it have a remote? lol
  6. it means either a. ur car is a r34 GTT (turbo) OR sum1 stole ur motor and chucked a rb25de (neo) in there for like 1200 bux as opposed to around 3500 bux for the det it is non turbo rite?
  7. man they are both top quality brands, u cant say pioneer is not as good. pioneer is mad, i love the lil remotes and the button when u press it detaches the face and flips the face down and u press agen it flips up and reattaches its self
  8. well i cudnt be bothered calling nrma and i still havent jump started my car, but just a thought, could i have a problem with my starter motor or nething else? or is it the gay battery ?
  9. yeah i left the amp on accidentally for like 6 hrs, bad move on my part, i hope this is the problem , at first i thought it was starter motor but then i wasnt sure, hmmz better get nrma down here since its free

  18. thanks man i fixed it up today tho, one wire came loose in da install some good power, is it wise to get another 12" sub tho? ive got a 600watt pioneer amp rated at around 300 - 350 rms and 1 x 12" sub rated at 400watt nominal power ... wise investment or not?
  19. theres this kit for sale i saw in hpi mag $5600 or something, comez with all forged goods think i'll go for that for starters
  20. anyways dude get ur exhaust done at liverpool exhaust, can fit resonators for 120 each u could probably fit 2 easily its cheap, and yes 2 1/2" is good but if u get a 4" or 5" tip u'll need a resonator or two
  21. alright ive installed the amp, but for some reason there seems to be no sound coming outa the sub this is wat ive done - connected the blue rca to my deck and had the wires run thro to my boot where the amp lives and connected it to the input jacks i could choose from here whether to do 4 channel or 2 so i chose 2 for now - connected red wire to fuse and to the battery - i earthed it and had the system remote control wire hoooked up - i dunno much about bridging but i followed the diagram on the amp so yeah it should be fine - the amp power light is on so there is power going to it so y isnt there any sound ?
  22. nothing wrong with it lol, just time to see wat kinda power i can make it produce, oh 7K is just my starting budget , so as i keep working and the money keeps rolling in, id say it'll be upwards of 10K, but id like not to spend more than 10 if possible
  23. its about time i did some work on my r33 i was thinking of an engine rebuild - some new rods (preferably off a GTR) - some new pistons (prefer not to go forged) hypereuretic? anyone know where i can find these? - gtr cam shaft - some new cam gears - probably a powerfc - might need a new headgasket i thinks and last but not the least A BIG A.SS TURBO :flamed: what else would i need? trying to keep within a budget of about 7grand provided i get the gtr parts relatively cheap any suggestions / ideas welcome ta
  24. dangerous daveo, wat do u mean by miss treatment and revs? i know here and there i do push my car to atleast 6000rpm (but never redline), because im scared of damage, now how much of this can my rb25 handle?
  25. just got me an amp from america pioneer GM-6100F 600watt amp not available in australia yet, now just how complicated is it to hook an amp up to a series 2 r33? and if anyones got any pics of how theyve done it etc plz post up.
