  1. Yer was a quick one on the smartphone hate those things for forums. So I could it be motor or this black wiper amp thing? If I put straight 12+Volts to the motor and it works duz that mean the motor is ok.
  2. ok so my rear wiper is not wiping when it is on it don't move at all I cant even hear the motor trying sometimes when it is in the on position it might work when it feels like it then not work again I check all wiring from fuse to rear plug into the motor and im getting power so all i can think of is either the motor itself is stuffed or this black box thing that is hanging off the wiper motor and says rear window motor amp thing is stuffed my mate said i should just get rid of the rear wiper altogether as jad imports don't have rear wipers but i have the stalk in my cabin for it so i want to keep it. any ideas?
  3. well to be honest I wouldn't use a GTR id keep it RWD do a lil drifting in it and il leave the RB series motor in for now this case a Rb25DET maybe later down the track go to a VG30DETT so the engine is in a better position for chasis balnce but that's just my thoughts might even leave the RB25 in there and rebuild an Rb30 block and put that in with the RB25 head. I dunno this is all an idea atm I know its gunna cost abit to get stuff done but those the breaks if you want something I love the stupid comments too thanks its all good il add to your posts done guys np.
  4. ohh hey man yer looks better nice mate nope I havnet asked an engineer or anything yet is there anything I need to know im guessing if it isn't really modifying the chasis or actually structure and all things like lighst and stuff still work im guessing it cant be that much of a problem maybe bonnet and stuff like that I dunno. But hey all things like intercoolers and boost controllers aftermarket ECu's and neons and all that have a warning saying For off road use only so even with an engineers cert they can still defect you go check it out. Im guessing a lot of stuff will need to either be welded or fibreglassed up moulds aswell so I cant see things like bonnets and bumpers being structully sound compared to stock standard items. I havnet measured it up either so I have no idea if it will fit.

Dunno what the Quote was about lol but yer even I guess R35 GTR front on there would look nice but u need to continue the fatness around the car lol I lie the look and yer the 370z front would be cheaper to acquire then the GTR 35 if someone can mod that pic with some fatter rears and side skirts and get rid of the whale tail see how it looks then.
  6. yer im in the process of paying my house of and yer I actually like the way that the 370z front looks on the R33 no spoiler and some fatter skirts I reckin would look sik even wide rear guards.

Ok look il take the negative comments and all that and stupidity intwined with this project I was asking about but don't insult my intelligence with your smartass comments so much you needed to post twice I was simply asking if you don't ask you don't know. your last comment is kinda redundant as your contradicting yourself as saying a turbo conversion as what its the same as before what you mean just no plumbing and ECu and all that aswell do I have to write all that in aswell meaning turboing the NA motor that is in the Q35 do you mean swap the motor out for a V6 twin turbo motor from say an R35 GTR as they are my simplest options im guessing not as cheap as I would expect but that's what I would do if I was to get a Q35? Don't just jump in enlighten me please.
  8. Yer I asked a engineer about that he said that the size of the motor is np even an RB30 though the age of the motor compared to the age of the car it cannot legally be done. Something about pollution standards this is why 13B rotaries aren't slotted into RX8 this is what he said this is only from one engineer that is a mates mate I havnet asked anyone else about it. I also like the 3500cc compared to even a 2600cc even though the RB26DETT has a heap more power. What is the engine like with a turbo or 2 strapped to the sides and what about the manual boxes in the Q35's will they handle the added HP of a turbo same as engine?
  9. yer I know unique usally mean ugly but I dunno somthin about it makes me want to try it out I mean would look good as a drift car and honestly that pic makes me want to do it even more lol id think of buying a damn 370z or even Q35 skyline non gtr But the thought of non RB non turbo just kills it. V6 I can cope with but damn Non Turbo and non Hot plate lights whhyyy Nissan.
  10. hey guys I been looking at different things with my r33 and I relized all spoilers look shit on an R33 flat back is best and then I looked at the front and thought hmmm a nice twin round headlight conversion would look nice and then it got me thinking ive seen cefiro and R32 R34 fronts on an R33 but what about a 370z front end I reckin it wouldn't look too bed aye. its a fat car like the R33 is really no other skyline has the fatty dynamics like the whale body r33 wide front gaurds with the lighst going up I reckin would look kick ass. what you guys think cant find anything on the net yets still looking so either it looks shit or im 1st to think about it lol.
  11. No that was just on ebay i didn't bother ringing Nissan infact i think i like the look of them off the car the tinted purple plastic kinda looks out dated IMO maybe a dark tinted plastic might look better though atm it looks good off the car just this glue making it look crap.

Ok so I was on the M5 110kmh massive winds window down arm out just chillaxing after a hard day at work when suddenly my drivers side weather shield decides to snap in two and shank my forearm and spin over my r33 and under a semi behind me and into the wilderness.....gone. So I was stuck with buying a new pair or genuine parts or take them off altogether after seeing prices of over $100 for 2 items I thought stuff it il takem off so I pulled one off and now im stuck with sticky glue on the rubber door piece what can I use to get this crap off.
  13. Just to let you all know my problem is now fixed cleaned the AFM with CC and also resoldered the plug inside onto the board and resiliconed it on the top so far so good.
  14. im using the stock ECU only mods on my R33 atm is a pod filter and 3inch cat back exhaust...though my mates S15 is doing the same thing and he is using a Power FC
  15. that is my R33 doing it cleaned my AC valve and it hasnt done it to that extent since. Maybe give that a clean see how you go it fills up with crap over the years might help there is a DIY cleaning post on here If i CBF id link it but yer just search bro and you will find it.

  17. just installed it all back in my car started it ran did do the bouncing idle but hasnt stalled yet after about a 8min idle plugs could be dirty so il change them next.

Noticed this while i was investigating another issue and im kinda putting it down to a timing belt vibration if that is possible my car has done 108k and im guessing at 100k the belt wasnt change i got it 99k and i havent changed the belt so is this what happens when it gets abit stretched or somthing ?

Ok pulled the AFM apart i noticed that the plugs wasnt so tight in but more on one side then the other so after getting the plug off i filed all the prongs on the board and the plug to clean them up and got all the old solder off i then resoldered the prongs back on then tested with a multimeter to make sure power was running through it all four prongs were conducting nicely so i pluggged it back in started the car 1st start run np alil jumpy on idle but could be semi fouled plugs nothing major and did not stall at all seems all good so i put the top plastic lid back on siliconed it around the edges gave the inside of the AFM a generous blasting of Contact cleaner and its sitting in my garage ready to go back on tomorrow with the Pod filter lets hope my problem is solved.
  21. i seen on ebay S2 AFM Pink and orange sticker for like $80 should i invest in one of these will they work on my S1 looks like some come with a brand new plug aswell.
  22. nah im out all weekend and baby shower on sunday so yer ill be at my olds though i was playing around with my AFM my mate said that he heard that S1 AFM can unsolder on the plug dunno how true this is as i see no phsyical difference apart from a colored sticker from S1 and S2 afm Mine is green s2 is pink. Now started my car and it died would crank over unplugged AFM started ran for at least 5 mins on a bumpy idlebut mostly above 500rpm i also gave it a rev np it wouldnt make boost and alsi seemed like it cut at about 2000-2500rpm this is from engine bay cable rev now i turn it off i gave my AFm a clean again let it dry plugged it back in started it as soon as i reved it it just died and also didnt seem like it was making boost (also led me to think a cooler pipe had split or blown off) but on a switch off then back on again i had boost this is all while AFM was plugged in then it died...unplugged my AFM started it idled without dieing for at least another 5 mins gave it a few hand revs and it still didnt die until i turned it off....So im thinking this problem is AFm isolated OR the plug or AFM loom.
  23. nah i dont think it has anything to do with the TPS as it idle ok its just it dies it dont drop idle then die it just dies BUT..i will check that as it will be 1 more thing off my list.
  24. Ok did all the above...about 2 weeks ago started my car last night let it idle NP... Today went out started it was idling died...started idle die....start idle die..thought id start it and acelerate see if it keeps the revs up and it was like i wasnt even acelerating..so im thinking its more to do with either ignition maybe plugs,coils,Fuel pump or Fuel PSI regulator but i doubt it or AFM still now wen it was dieing and i was stuck halfway down the driveway i jumped out popped it bonnet and unplugged my AFm and then plugged it back in and cranked it started and idled NP...drove it back up the driveway..let t idle NP. i was reading that if i unplug the AFM and it keeps running then the AFm is stuffed If it dies its working well i unpluged it and it died on me plugged it back in and started NP and ran well. Maybe ther plug is stuffed or a connection or maybe it is still abit dirty the only other things i can think off is fuel or plugs as honestly im lucky to drive my car once a month i do let it idle in the driveway a few times each week. Thats due to my truck being my transport all day and wifes subie when im home. what you guys think AFM ? i was also thinking about check the ACV again aswell after i cleaned it maybe even just by a new 1.
