  1. i just went and measured my centre of wheel to guard heights.. front is dead on 350, rear is 330. the car sits at about ~110mm at the front bar, and part of the exhaust at the rear diff. (lowest points on the car) will raising the rear to ~340+mm make a noticable difference? the car already has the "lower front end" slope, im thinking the front might need to go up ~5mm too if i raise the rear. and on topic - how do you mean your 4 door sits too high? high in reference to the centre of wheel to guard heights on a mini minor?
  2. cars pre-1995 (all R32's, and some R33's) can have CF bonnets legally as they did not have to pass front end collision tests. (CF can be quite dangerous when its smashed) however, the other part that makes it il/legal is rear facing vents. legally you can not have any opening in the bonnet that would allow fluids/etc to hit the windscreen in the event of a blown hose, or something to that extent. you can have bonnets such as the one in that S15, but you need to have an aluminium plate, or something similar made up to close off the rear facing vent. PS: is this R32 gtrs only? im after one for my S1 R33.. PPS: although you said its not CF on aluminium, for that price id imagine its fibreglass underlayer, with a carbon fibre overlay. 100% CF bonnets can be up around $2000.
  3. power steering pump in my 33 is dead.. need a new one. anyone got one handy? or know somewhere i can get one? cheers.
  4. ditto stealth, im alot more cautious withmine too. they are really based on car radars/multinova's though. once a laser one gets you (assuming it picks it up at all, its normally aimed at the numberplate), you are f**ked anyway. alot of people turn off "k" band too.. its tghe one that picks up in car radars, and garage doors, etc etc i ususally have it off around the city, and turn it on when im on more open roads
  5. ive got a bel XR950 (aus. version of the RX650, same shit, different bucket.) cost me $649, saved me many a time. mum has one too, out on country roads, she picked up a multi from 3km away... (straight road, but still damn good) i always get enough room to brake with mine (assuming you arent going stupidly fast)
  6. thats alot of camber too.

  9. ah nice.. mines got the ring, however it constantly falls off with hard turning, haha
  10. guess i should probably mention it was my r/c car.. however it now lives! the only part that died was a bug-eye wrx shell, which got replaced with a JGTC R34 GTR shell, and it gained about 15rwhp just from that alone.
  11. mines in pretty good condition, leather is perfect.. does yours have the centre ring on the bolts? alot of them dont..
  12. my car came with one of these when i bought it... nardi torino classic. about $600, plus the boss but it is the best steering wheel i have even driven with, im buying one for my next car, thats how good it is. horn isnt within thumbs reach, but who needs a horn when you have a 8,000RPM rev limiter with ignition cut? *b-b-b-b-b-bang!*
  13. my next ride...
  14. same issue with mine.. i used to have a nokia, then going to this weird samsung way of sending a message is a pain in the ass. however, you can *slightly* shorten in instead of hitting 'options', then 'send', after you have typed your message, just hit 'ok'.... saves one button!
  15. to suit... what? made of... what?
  16. mine are available as per discussion earlier
  17. so i was just leaving my house this morning, and as i got half way down my street, the rear right hand stud sheered off, and as a result the rim ended upin some guys garden. due to a lack of a rim, the car slid along the road for a bit, into a kerb, and smashed the front bar all the underbody is shreaded, the side skirts are all cracked and torn, and the suspension parts on the rear right are basically screwed. scared the shit out of me, lucky i was only going slow, else it could have been really bad ive got somepicson my camera, im uploading them as we speak. if anyone knows a good repairer for these types of problems, let me know! thanks.

  19. are the gtst's series 1, or 2? if s1, do you have a perfect condition bonnet, and left front guard?
  20. for those who read the toms hardware review and didnt like the results. my housemate has the exact same monitor, running on a 7900GTX... no ghosting, absolutely great for games. im actually in the process of getting one myself..
  21. hehe.. i had a similar scenario. was at a set of lights, wrx full of dickheads in the lane next to me, and they are sitting there revving and carrying on, and they yelled out "whats under the hood". the light went green, i yelled back "an engine", and turned left.
