No insurance? Sounds like the rocks are in your head not on the road. If you hit ANYTHING you're gonna get reamed. You should have 3rd party minimum. Imagine if you lost control or you were hit and pushed into a building. Who's going to pay the 100's of thousands to get that fixed? Mad I tell ya. Anyone who can't afford insurance shouldn’t drive a car, especially a Skyline. With regards to trucks, it PISSES me the fu(k off too. I'm constantly getting bombarded with stones along the Western Port Highway. It's mostly truck with earth movers on the back covered in mud or transport trucks with no cover over the loads. Just dob them in if you get hit, insurance will sort it out. My old man got fixed up for a truck dropping shit all over his car.

It's simply not worth it for amounts under a couple of grand though Graeme, I had a similar problem with a Sydney resident. I had all the bank details, name etc. I lodged a report with Vic police who said they'd speak with the local police where the bank was located and nothing EVER happened, I didn't receive any correspondence at all. I called the bank in Syd and they could see the money sitting there and I applied for a reversal but get this - with Direct Deposit if you willingly transfer the money the recipient has to approve the request to return the money....yeah right. I can understand that there are 11ty billion petty matters like this for the police to deal with and that's why I think it's simply not worth it, they just don't have the time or care (well that's the impression I got).

Don't do it, just run now. It will ruin your life.... No but on a serious note a Traineeship/Apprenticeship is a good way to go, the only problem is the money. I've taken on 3 trainee's since managing my office here and they'll all been very good. One still works with us today. The problem I see with IT work is that there are far too many cheap and nasty providers out there so it can be difficult to find a good place to do a traineeship without them using and abusing you at a cheap labour rate. I started as an apprentice 9 years ago and I’ll be part owner of the business at the end of June so that proves it a good path

If you don't to cut anything ARC coolers are one of the best, they are also probably the BEST japanese coolers I've seen. I run one and many many good JDM cars run them. I'm not so sure that that's the case guys. I've been told that if the filter sock is on the fuel pump it should prevent any crap at the bottom of the tank being sucked up (but in saying that I've seen pumps with no sock fitted) but I'd be interested to hear a mechanics opinion.
