  1. Bit slow you guys, i bought the blue TE's last year... I do have a set of Top Secret LE's 18x10.5 for sale , same gold with polished lip as GTTR34 Matt's.
  2. Sorry if I didn't make this clear enough Clean Block and used forged 88mm pistons/rings, pins only No crank, rods etc
  3. I have a good used RB26 Block that has been fitted in japan with 88mm forged pistons. Was a good goer in a 200kw 32GTR until it developed a rattle in the bottom end (big end bearing). I'm not super keen on big bore engines so built a new 86.5 engine. The block has been hot-tanked and crack-tested - all good. The bores are good, pistons/rings look good (not sure what brand, probably jap). Could be a good find for someone on a budget. Take it away $400ono
  4. True, disabling the 4wd means there is no electronic drive being sent to the front wheels. But the 33/34's have a small amount of hydraulic preload in the system which sends some mech drive to the front wheels even when the torque gauge says zero. That is why the front shaft should be removed on a 2wd dyno. (otherwise the transfer case gets very hot and kills the driveplates :0 ) This preload is enough to drive the AWD rollers but not transfer any substantial amount of power. cheers
  5. Go the Nismo/Tomei drop in pump. Its the easiest, most reliable pump replacement option.

    Cyclists?

Cyclists are a road user same as cars, motocyclists, pedestrians etc. The public road system is for all road users. Respect the fact that your fellow human being is unprotected and give them the same/more respect as any other road user. As a regular cyclist, I see the unsolicited angst against cyclists all the time. There is no need for hero car drivers to brush past you with 3" clearance, blast the horn, rev limit your diesel and haze us in black smoke. So understandably we get upset as you are potentially trying TO KILL US !! You might be just f**king around but it is the cyclist that will be in hospital or dead. Think about that a little. Dont ever try this shit on me as if you happen to get caught at a red light...I'm dragging you out of your car and beating the @#$% out of you as a lesson.(about once a month on average and the heroes are invariably spineless cowards that whimper alot) So chill and show the cyclists some respect, it may just be someone you know.
  7. Very true, a good GTR pump will do over 400kw @ wheels.
  8. The standard seals are excellent and never leak on a good engine. You must have some other issue.
  9. I've seen a few nice new engines (and older ones too) killed by the ceramic turbos. Let this serve as a warning to all GTR owners. Get those ceramics off asap. Works out less costly as now you still need new turbos and also have to do the engine again Bummer !
  10. Chill Ash, the OP stated it was an AWD dyno. If you disable the 4wd by unplugging the g force sensor, it can make a better/more consistant number as very little drive is now sent to the front wheels. It is more representative of how a GTR works in the real world. Excess power is sent to the front wheels only when the rears slip.
