7. Body Repairs o Due to the types of materials used for the body and given the precise assembly of the vehicle, body damage requiring certain repairs will need to be completed at a GT-R Certified body shop. Your Nissan High Performance Centre can direct you to a qualified body shop. Because of the specialized body repair requirements, it may not be unusual for the nearest GT-R Certified body shop to be a considerable distance from either the Nissan High Performance Centre or your current location, requiring additional vehicle transport at your expense. Additionally, repair times for body work may require more time than you may have experienced with other vehicles.

A summer Targa? The Wrest Point Targa Saturday, January 31 to Sunday, February 1 TARGA – A NEW SUMMER ADVENTURE – Jan 31 to Feb 1, 2009 We understand (via a reliable source) that the promoters of Targa Tasmania plan to run a two day event based at the Wrest Point Hotel at the end of January in 2009. This would put the event a couple of weeks before Rally Tasmania. We understand that the course will involve some of the better stages taken from the old Day 3 of Targa in the Huon Valley and involve the use of a new stage some 32 km in length. What is most surprising is the reported entry fee is likely to be $1,800.00 or less. Watch this space, we will provide more detail as it becomes available.

Pete did a great job for his first Duttons Not sure he knew how competitive this event is how ever the 63 year old granddad still won 21 events to Pete's 13 Maybe next year thanks Pete for a fun three day and I promise to open the windows next time the odors build up too much
-
Had to take the poor 300C to the Chrysler doctor today It was revving and driving weirdly on the way home They found a bar code label stuck around the throttle butterfly Didn't dare say anything about a DYNO day! Checked revs to road speed also 2000revs = 90kph red line 6500 to 7000 = between 290 to 315kph in 4th gear still got 5th to go (bugger the wind resistance)
-
Upset the antiskid stuff came good on the way home The speed limit hit was the Dyno The dyno stops at 240 kph the 300C was just getting going at 240kph in 4th The guys in Dubai on utube show that they run easily to about 275kph and then hit a speed limiter when in 5th
