  1. That is what I have in mind. The price of around $149 retail sounds good to me but we'll see what the guys next door say. (the engineers)
  2. Which of these pistons should I buy for my RB26DETT build? CP Pistons, Wiseco or JE? They are all relatively the same price (under $1,000) In terms of the build I've just gone with ARP rod bolts, ARP main bolts, ARP head bolts, ACL main and rod bearings, etc. etc. Nothing too too fancy. Greg
  3. I've got a burgandy R32 GTR boot lid here in good condition. $300 delivered I've also got a set of excellent condition R34 GTR rims which I'm looking to sell for $3,000ono (open to negotiation) Greg
  4. After seeing the simplicity of the Reimax oil pump rotor kits, I certainly wouldn't mind getting one in to take to the engineers next door. There seem to be 2 options, 77mm and 81mm. Does anyone know the difference between the 2 of them in terms of their application?
  5. I'm not specifically on a budget but I don't really want to go too too crazy. Where are the cheapest prices for a JUN pump? Greg P.S I also know of someone that has smashed an N1 oil pump also.
  6. If you have evidence of this I'd sure like to know who (obviously don't post their details if you're not 100% sure as you'll probably get banned) lol
  7. I am trying to do it on a budget so I might have to go with that option.
  8. Well if I have a look at the reinik gear option, it would mean that I wouldn't have to sell the N1 pump and for $600 I would have a good pump? Do you know where I can buy the reinik gears from?
  9. That's what I was just thinking. The standard oil pump from Nissan was $462 trade!! I can't remember what I paid for the N1. Would you recommend the JUN over the other options on the market? Greg
  10. I've just ordered a JUN collar for the R32 GTR crank. I've never heard of the Reinik pump gears. Where can they be found and do you have any other info on them? cheers, Greg
  11. Okay..... I'm building an RB26 powered S13 silvia at the moment. The car is being built for no real purpose other than being a quick street car. The motor is getting a forged bottom end and I'll be running group A turbos at around 1.1 - 1.4 bar. I'm also using a high energy oil sump (the car is only RWD) I won't be sitting on the rev limiter for extended periods of time. I ordered an N1 Oil pump from Nissan but it was taking a while to arrive so I then ordered an original oil pump from Nissan to try and get the car running. Both the pumps turned up on the same day. My question is (and I have searched and read up many threads), which one should I use? I understand that the N1 will give higher oil pressure but may cause seals to blow out? I also understand that both pumps are far from the best but I really don't want to spend too much more money on the car (eg. 1k on an aftermarket oil pump) [unless I can sell both the standard pumps for good money) Anywayz, what are people's thoughts? Greg
  12. I've got a set of IMMACULATE rims here with good tread, only 1 small mark on 1 wheel: I was really looking at $3,000 but I am negotiable. Give me a call and we'll work something out Greg
  13. I may be wrong but I'm quite sure that a GTS-T setup will be the same.
  14. As above I'm looking for an R34 GTR standard intercooler. I want one in good condition. Please PM me or call the warehouse if you have what I'm after. Thanks, Greg
  15. I'm using a Grex block adapter, Chinese oil cooler (paid bugger all for it on eBay), Earls fittings and braided lines. Should cost me around $250 MAX all up for this setup and will suit my RB26 S13 nicely as there was no off the shelf item. I wanted a thermostat in my kit, thus I went with the Grex block adapter with the thermostat built in (around $130 from Hi Octane Racing) Greg
  16. Item: GTR Twin Turbos Age: Unknown Condition: Excellent Price: $500ono To Fit: GTR - RB26DETT Location: Hoppers Crossing, Victoria Contact: 1800 GKTECH (458 324) Comments: Not 100% sure what model these are as I can't seem to find a real answer. The turbos have on them : 466071-3 14411-05U21
  17. The part number for an R32 GTR (RB26DETT) oil drain hose (from the turbo drain to the block) is 1519805u04 There are 2 of these and although they look different to one another on the motor, when you remove them, they are exactly the same (thus the same part number) These cost me $40 each trade Greg
  18. Wow... You found this on your car Dush??? It looks just like the ones that our new cooler kits come with for the skylines
  19. You will need an RB25 ECU (and has to be specific to the series of the head). HC = hand controller The power FC is a replacement for the standard ECU.
  20. That part number is correct. Thanks for that. $65 trade from Nissan.
  21. There's an installation guide for people using these boss kits with hicas equipped cars here: http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/In...l&hl=gktech
  22. This is an old thread but I just pulled the gearbox off my RB26 and found the same clutch (RS055) I did a bit of searching around and found the rebuild part numbers. I thought I'd post them in here incase someone else ever needs them: The full clutch kit is the following number: 3002a-rs591 It is the spec 2 nismo gmax clutch Here are the replacement part numbers: clutch cover 3021a-rs055 center plate 30125-rs020 friction disc 3010c-rs045 cover to mid plate bolts 30131-rs020 clutch cover to flywheel bolts 30132-rs020 flywheel 1231c-rs590 Greg
  23. I'm in need of the part number for an R32 GTR (1992 model) RB26DETT air intake temp sensor (sits on the intake manifold towards the front)
  24. Thanks mate, appreaciated. I just want to hurry up and start this motor. Should go well with group A turbos and in an S13 shell
