On average i fill up with 35-40L and get around 350-450k to a tank depending on the type of driving i am doing Mods are just a exhaust & air filter I read somewhere that they are meant to do 9L/100k....

Always loved the shape, wanted another turbo car - had a 180sx, s4 rx7 & sr20det scorpion previously Bang for your buck was high on the list, and to me its one of the most practical coupes around

I had bov on my 180 and never had a problem with the afm - just a backfire every now and then A mate runs a turbosmart bov on his and doesnt experience any of the symptoms everyone talks about

A mate of mine had a tt 300zx - nice cars - go hard in stock form A decent fmic setup will take care of the heat issues, but the engine bay is very cramped - took us half a day to change the oil filter ~ imagine that in labour IMO keep the 33!!!

If u want fwd go the type r - nothing compares imo If you prefer rwd go the supra - there are turbo kits available for when u decide to go turbo and a lot of the guys in the states run big numbers through n/a converted cars

I reckon some degreaser and a brush!! Spend a little while on it and clean it up - it does wonders even on a stock engine bay

I disagree - i picked up mine for 11k and apart from a dirty aac valve the car is spotless There are heaps and heaps on carsales around 12-14k which have been on there for a good 6 months - a lot of owners are getting quite desperate to sell

Any exhaust place can knock up a 3inch exhaust and tailor it to how loud u want it I just got mine done (cat back) for $400 with an oval muffler with twin tips - its loud, but if u want it quieter they can put a resonator on it to quieten it down

Keep looking mate - you will find one I helped a mate look for one - we looked at about 6 in the end before he found the right car There are so many around - they can be bargained down too

Very nice - White looks so much cleaner Its a shame not many people have gunmetal 33's - im having a hard time deciding on a colour that will go with the car, let alone a rim lol

The rest of the car is stock, so id assume it is stock boost I have no way of telling as i dont have a boost guage wired up yet

Cheers - might just clean the afm to see if it fixes the problem Sparkies have been purchased and will be fitted sometime next week

Got a couple of issues that have started to bother me with my 33gtst Only engine mods are cat back exhaust and pod filter Problem 1 - On an incline when i start the car, the revs drop below 500rpm and it stalls. Start the car and the same again. When i rev the car it revs smoothly, but then drops to 500rpm and stalls. Move the car to flat ground and its fine Problem 2 - which i think is the sparkplugs - on a hot day the car doesnt misfire at all, however on a cooler day or at night it misfires terribly I have inspected the coils and i dont think its them, as on a 30 degree day it doesnt misfire Im going to clean the aac valve to see if it fixes problem 1 If anyone can provide some insight that would be great Cheers J

My old 180 used to have the same problem and it was the knock sensor that caused it - fairly common problem on them too
