  1. I get the -30 or so on the same sensor, but after a minute or so it reverts to a reading closer to the refridgerant temp. Bloody gremlins ;o)
  2. Chris, Can only say that i've had one car done at tintacar and one at solace. Certainly had no dramas with either but there would probably be cheaper places around. Cheers, Ryan.
  3. Yes please ;o) I'll grab a set also. Pm you for purchasing details.
  4. Filled a 20L jerry can so i can drive my new R home from Hyperdrive tomorrow from the BP on Parry av. Bullcreek. Chick said they were pretty much the last servo left with 98. They started the day with 6,000lts and had about 3,500lts left when i was there at 12ish. They open till 9 but they dont expect the 98 to last till tomorrow. They've been told supply could be back by next monday up until another 2 weeks.
  5. DOTARS is dragging its feet on getting out and inspecting the car. Could be a while yet but if i aint got my bum in a new car before yours gets here i'm gonna give up and buy a 4wd
  6. Good stuff Chris. we'll have to have a wager on who gets there new car first
  7. I also filled up for that magical 147c/L yesterday, atleast i can say that i set a personal record for money spent on a tank of fuel. Good thing the 31 is fantastic on fuel and i've had a work vehicle for the last 2 weeks or so, i've had a decent run i suppose. I can only see the price going up from here but
  8. Yeah i popped the ad on there a while ago and have had some interest. Asking price has been dropped to 11K Cheers,
  9. Just a quick question or two, what are the red wires in the engine bay for/attached to? is it one of those earth cable systems? and what grade was she at auction in Japan?
  10. Bumperino
  11. Bump
  12. Bump
  13. Diff gets done tomorrow. Will let you know the results. Cheers.
  14. New R32 5 speed is going in next week and possibly a new clutch is the old one needs replacing. watch this space. P.S. the Defi gauges in the interior shot are not included in the asking price, i wanna keep them to put in the GTR. Cheers, Rhino
  15. Ohhh and the Defi gauges in the interior shot are not included in the asking price. I want them for the GTR but if someone really wants them to stay i could be persuaded to leave them in the car (they cost me $1,000 new)
  16. [a tachment=101:attachment]Slight bearing noise in the box means that i am putting in a r32 5 speed next week. This box will have a 6 month warranty. If the clutch needs doing i will take this opportuntiy to do so. Watch this space. Will also carry out oil and filter change with Mobil 1 befoer new buyer picks her up. I am negotiable on price. Cheers, Rhino
  17. For Sale. 1987 HR31 GTS-X manual Metallic Black on Silver Usual HICAS/ABS/power windows + mirrors/analogue climate control/air cushion seats etc. RB20DET – NICS block and bottom end fully rebuilt to standard specs approx 20,000km ago · Head/plenum etc up is all R32 ECCS spec · Turbo VL turbo exhaust (steel)/R33 compressor running 1.0Bar · Blitz front mount intercooler · Turbo smart pneumatic boost controller and BOV · Aussie spec R31 radiator (18months old bought brand new) · Pod filter · Oil catch can · Full 3 inch mandrel exhaust including dump pipe, cat and stainless cannon · Apexi SAFC-II · Polished crossover pipe and spark plug cover · New battery installed last week · 240rwhp in shootout mode Suspension (front) Koni shocks with King springs · Cusco adjustable camber tops · New Tie end rods · 17 x 7 inch rims with 235/45 Yoko rubber 90% · S15 calipers and brake rotors (rear) JIC height adjustable coilovers · 17 x 7 inch rims with 235/45 Yoko rubber 98% · R33 GTS-25t calipers and brake rotors Other - Diff fully rebuilt to NISMO specs (i.e. very tight LSD) · Power steering rack fully reconditioned · Power aerial replaced 12months ago · Alpine head unit with 6-inch and 6x9’s · Projector headlights · WA rego till March 06 · Fuel consumption of 9L/100km (country) to 11L/100km (city), the SAFC is tuned very well hence the great fuel economy and A:F ratios The only thing holding this car back from making more power is the AFM (at full revs its at 100%) and limitation of the standard computer. I have a R32 ECU and wiring loom ready to go in and be re-mapped. All thats needed is a AFM with more resolution (Z32 etc) and she’s ready to go. The reason for sale is that I am getting back into a R32 GTR and cant afford to have 2 cars. For a daily driver this car is fantastic on fuel and about the only irritating thing about the car is that the exhaust is slightly louder than most and the suspension is firm. Of the 3 skylines i have owned so far this car is, without doubt, the most fun to drive, fuel efficient and gets a lot more looks than my GTR used to. So if you are looking for a 31 or an alternative to the usual S13 platforms or even something to start drifting in (the new diff, power delivery and suspension/braking package is already pretty well sorted) this could be the car. I don’t have any small photos available so if you’re interested PM me with your email address and i’ll send you a few pics. As you may have noticed this car is in Perth but i happy to sort freight interstate. Asking price is $12,000 onoXXXX NOW $11,000 Cheers, Ryan.
