  1. oh, and as no one has mentioned it, here is a very good site for learning some weight exercises. Click on the muscle groups, and there are tips and pic/vid demonstrations of hundreds of exercises per muscle group. http://www.muscleandstrength.com/exercises/main.html
  2. 100% agree mate. Go with what works for you, but still, dont leave muscle groups out. Even if you do a few less exercises on some groups; like i have always had big toned legs, but go figure, HATE doing leg exercises - so i just do the big stuff; squats with the barbell, toe raising (on squat machine) for calves, and leg curl for hams. A good friend of mine who i go to the gym with on the weekends is built like a brick shithouse (has ben going to the gym for years, ex footballer), does well in every muscle group, very built and toned in the upper body, but has legs like a rake - and he does double the leg exercises and weights i do with leg work. Everyone is different!
  3. true what you say about the prog too Craig, definitely died in the arse a fair bit. But bring the big guns back here any time, Dave Seaman, Sasha, Digweed, Satoshi Tomiie, Sander K, Tom Novy etc. guaranteed they'll over fill and sell out any big night spot venue here. Seen John Digweed play here at Future last year, but i think he was as about excited as to get his set done and out the way, as us punters were waiting for nightfall > it was f*&^n over 40 degrees that day, he played at 3pm in the blazing sun for a 1.5 hour set... bloody waste! The man needs at least 3 hours! And you'd want it to be the closing set of the day... was still a top day with awesome sets from all acts; Diggers, Sven Vath <-- wicked minimal and techno from that bloke, Roger Sanchez, and then the Chemical Brothers (which was at night). On the prog side of things this year - there have been a few acts down; Sander K @ future 09, Paolo Mojo @ the Bunka (upstairs part of the Austral i believe), and Hybrid a couple of weeks ago @ garage. I hardly ever go out any more, wish i went to all these shows. I did however go to future that day, and Sander played a ripper of a set. I took a few vids too: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Sq9mGoQtOS4 and on the topic of minimal & techno, Richie Hawtin played straight after him. 3 hour set. Absolute gold. The bloke plays straight off a laptop - if you do a search in youtube, there is a 5 or 6 part series on the software he uses and his set up, its phenomenal! another vid i took on the day of Richie Hawtin: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Fg50buuQ0N0 Spewing my N95 nokia is very sensitive to sound and distorts so easily though ;/
  4. that first track sounds very similar to Trentemoller - Polar Shift ! very cool, i like it! LOL - hows that - clicked the 'more info' bit on the video, and its a Trentemoller track... I was fooled by the iTunes advert that popped up the start labelling it a Glenn Morrison track this a very cool mix, some big names in there from the usual suspects of the Get Physical & Kompakt xtra labels. I really like get physical as a lot of the releases are a bit more house oriented rather than full blown minimal and tech'd out! Definitely releases i'm happy to add to my collection and throw in a mix for good measure
  5. im liking minimal and techno too more and more these days. But doesn't do it for me over deep and progressive house. Some of the real out-there bleepy & glitchy stuff is a bit much imo. But some great tunes above nevertheless, i love a bit of everything with these genres heres one i've always liked; Should hear it over a big system, its mental: Robert Babicz - Sin (Gui Borrato Remix) and ive been playing the Sasha - Invol2ver cd a lot lately. He's known for prog mainly, but him a lot of the big name prog djs are producing/playing minimal and tech house these days: this is one of the tracks featured on the album, but played in the club (MOS nightclub in London) - sounds real beefed up played through that club system!
  6. lotsa wheels!

  9. Dave - the 2 hunj has got the look mate. Those rims are fantastic, love the ride height too.
  10. pretty cool lineup. Marco Carola, Miss Kittin, and Umek, names that you wont see again in Adelaide for years to come.

I think if the Saints are going to lose, it'll be the Hawks or Essendon next week that will do the deed. I cant see North Melbourne or Melbourne beating them in rounds 21 & 22

im waving my fist in the air right now, hoping they'll kill this trend! getting our foot in for a run in the finals... im going to the game next Sunday against Carlton, and definitely to the last game against North Melbourne with a big crew of mates

  15. stupid editor - lets try that again: :(
  16. That's got to be one of the nicest looking late model Ferraris yet! Beautiful! don't want to know the price tag though... lol
  17. this is what electronic broken beat is all about! that has the potential to be a brilliant set / night Craig mate im gonna download that set posted in that thread on ITM. Krafty Kuts plays a bit like this too, not so much with the dubstep, but more a set starting off breaks > hip hop > drum & bass > and back to finish with breaks. Loved every show of his ive been to - the guy has a good following here in Adelaide; shown the night he managed to pack out the crown and sceptre to near capacity on a Wednesday night gig of his a while back - hardly anyone heads out on Wednesdays! i'll have to see if i can stumble across a good set of his and post a link!
  18. +1. Absolutely unacceptable practice. Good luck with it Mitch, I hope it gets sorted out with a fair outcome for you.
