  1. mate, its just like the covers over my nonna's couch and arm chairs that were bought in the late 60s! the things are practically brand new still... lol
  2. looks like such a cool little project to work on this 4K-turbs, nice work Carl! is this Ryans old car? im thinking about buying another rolla, will probably be looking out for a cheap KE70 in the future. i've still got 4k parts & goodies to suit in my shed!
  3. i'll most likely be getting stimulation cheque in the mail. I hate having to wait for them to process! should've set up EFT with bloody ato last year!
  4. that photo in the first post really doesnt do its looks any justice. The other snaps on the motorauthority site make it look a lot better
  5. well done mate, this was a good lunchtime read. Im actually in the market for rims at the moment, so this info was very good knowledge to gain
  6. the whole rim in gun metal would look nice
  7. bugger, sorry to hear mate. I remembered you posting about getting ready to hand it over to a buyer so typical, i cant believe the low ballers that are out there. Keep it up advertised in the meantime, the might person may just come along like Nene said. Its a great stag, one of the nicest ive seen thats for sure
  8. did the Stag sale fall through Reuben?
  9. from memory they are similar to the other parts i mentioned. i think they are for plastic mounts that sit in holes in the body underneath the car, and a plastic screw fastens the skirt into the mounts will have a look at my skirts tonight and let you know.
  10. +1 it isnt easy for shit to build up on the inside of the headlights, they are sealed pretty well should do a search twinz, this topic is covered HEAPS
  11. whatever you do, dont try and yank it off by pulling upward with as much force as possible, or you'll be left with a shitload of broken glass! push downward on the centre of the wiper, and gently pull the other end up that connects the wiper to the cog on the wiper motor
  12. Nah, no drilling required mate. Those brackets you can see on the inside of the skirt are there for using factory mounting points. But your 33 doesnt have them - nether does mine (as our cars did not come out of the factory with side skirts). The plastic grommets im talking about sit in each of those brackets on the inside of the skirt. Then there are plastic mounts that sit in holes on the body of the car (which we dont have), that will line up with each grommet. The grommets clip in to those mounts fastening the side skirt. If you use sikaflex and the screws in the wheel wells like i mentioned, you dont need to worry about these parts from nissan at all. Sikaflex will not come unstuck easily I have a pair of sideskirts identical to yours, and im in the same situation as you are. I just need mine resprayed
  13. this is probably the answer to your problem. reccomened tyre sizes for the stockies are 225/50/16 or 205/55/16 i am using 225/50 all round on my stockies
  14. i dont think the s2's have the rubber coating. from the s2s ive seen its just a hard plastic surface
  15. you can use sikaflex (glue), and self taping screws at both ends in the wheel wells. same with rear pods. they wont come unstuck you probably already know, the standard 33 type m sideskirts have a bunch of grommets and plastic clips behind the skirts that fasten them into the side of the car. you can get them from Nissan dealers, but they aint cheap (for what they are). The 33s that came out of the factory with these sideskirts have the all the holes along the bottom of the body for these little plastic mounts and clips.
  16. a hot day is all you need! leave it out in the sun for a bit and that shit peels straight off using your fingers
  17. hehe i had that one sent to me as a powerpoint back in the day, its a laugh when you hear it going off around the office
  18. hey Michael, does your dash insert have the rubbery coating on it? or is it the only the hard plastic (as i've seen in series 2 33s) i have an s1 33, and my dash insert was looking a little worse for wear after a while of owning the car. The hot weather here makes it very easy to mark with scratches and eventually peel. Tedious task, but i peeled every single inch of the rubber crap off with my fingers, and underneath it is actually a nice shiny black plastic. it looks mint! if you do this on a hot day, the stuff peels off even easier i can take a photo of mine if you like just a thought to save you having to paint it
  19. at the end of the day it does the job pretty well, and is a very good cooler kit for its price. If you are going to buy a Greddy one, you know you are buying a quality item - it'll always be voted better of the two kits. I bought the justjap one as i wanted to use of the standard ic plumbing in the engine bay. no cutting holes anywhere for pipes, no extra piping under the bonnet at all, no removal of my washer bottle. Simply less stuffing around. yeah the 'gay pipe underneath' does sit a little low. just got to be a little careful, that is all. If you can drive through dips and reverse out of risky driveways in the right manner, you will be fine. carelessness will destroy these fmic kits, end of story.
  20. i have one of these coolers from justjap, they are decent quality and very easy to install. good bang for buck item
  21. this thread (its title) is complete bullshit.
  22. lol, looks like ive started something
  23. haha cheers, i love it ay
  24. changed my gearbox oil recently with the motul stuff, very smooth. definitely quality oil been using mobil1 for years in the rb25, good stuff
  25. typical shifty bouncers, they might cop a hard time from drunk patrons but they have no right doing stuff like Carl mentioned. And HQ is supposed to have a good security rep since reopening its doors after heaven shut down... Still though, cant beat the bouncers at the old Rise. When a punchup would happen, they'd wait until the fight was finished and remove the ones that were knocked out... i remember standing next to a 2 on 2 brawl right in front of the bar / main dancefloor, and these two blokes got knocked the f out, boots to the head while on the ground, they got hammered. Bouncers calmly walk over and literally dragged the two guys on the floor by their legs out to the foyer...
