  2. what a ripper!!! I've never come across a turbo 4k before, very cool dude. i'm jealous! lol i seized the 4k in my old rolla. my own fault... bush bashing on my mates farm up in golden grove and I cracked the sump. And kept bush bashing for a good 45 mins after...
  3. haha, little 4k beast hey! got an engine bay pic Ryan?
  4. working in CBD, public transport is the easiest way for me... not that i like it, but o-bahn ftw! pretty quick trip

  6. lol, thats pretty clever
  7. lol, pretty sure that dude lives around the corner from me. Shocking colour choice... it isnt even orange, its more like metallic rust!
  8. just came back from a city drive - seen: a white R34 GTR on Kensington Rd heading towards town around 6:45pm, had LED taillights white R34 GTT with big rims on Lower NE rd heading onto payneham rd around 7:00pm and stocky looking white R33 sedan on Newton Rd shortly after
  9. Actually, it did look like the car in your sig! I was at the lights on jeffcott st about to turn right onto fitzroy. Your 33 is looking nice mate!

  12. hey Craig, where's that hapening mate>?
  13. not a good start to the morning hey Ruby... one thing i dont miss about driving to & fro work in the peak hour traffic, driving along with the idiots that have no respect for the other people on the road... cut you off, tail gate, no patience. It can get dangerous... It is true how you always see the same cars in the same traffic flow each morning... its likely you'll see him again
  14. it certainly can be replaced Mick, but the theft rate of skylines right now is pretty concerning leaving your car parked in a public place
  15. awesome photo Pete! true Adz; a good mate of mine is a torana freak, he's looking at picking up one of the old SS models with the 308s, and no joke - for a clean one, you're looking at least $20k worth!
  16. I installed new coil packs just before i filled up the other night, and i reset the counter. I havent measured the amount of k's from a full tank for a few years now, and i've added a few mods to the car since i last measured it. i'll be interested to see if i can get over 350km's. I think my stock ecu is making the engine run R&R - i get this massive creep of power after 5500rpm (the car literally throws me back in my seat); through the midrange its somewhat weaker. Not nice! Need to do some investigating... The time for a powerfc and tune may be here...
  17. That'd be wise Pete, lol; I wouldnt pass up taking a 34R for a bit of the 'after repairs test', ....to err...make sure no panels come loose in motion... lol I hardly help out with my cousins work these days due to my own commitments, but he still receives plenty of work from that same importer. Hardly any Jap imports today though, a lot of classic American imports - you can probably figure out who the importer is... keep that Torry Adz!!!! very nice looking machine you got there They are pretty much collectors items now on end hey
  18. thats pretty much what happened to me mick... little bit of a story to tell, here goes: between 1998-2000 i used to help a cousin with his spraypainting and panelbeating business. Another family member of ours started bringing in jap imports - and he was sending them to my cousins workshop for body work before they were up for sale in the show room. The first grey import skyline i ever had a glance at in the flesh was a navy blue R32 GTSt that came into the workshop for some front panel damage repair - i had never seen one of these things before - (except for the ol bathurst cars on TV) - there were almost none of these cars on our roads at all - anyhow I took it for a drive after the repairs were done, and i was blown away... it was an absolute rocket! I loved it... straight up loved it. I had never driven anything like it... We received plenty more work as they kept coming in from Japan; Silvia turbos, FTO's, 180sx, Soarers, etc.. but the skyline was always my favourite, loved the sound of em, the power, the looks, i was very bloody excited - bragging to my mates about these cars, they thought i was living in a shell playing too much gran turismo on the play station or something... little later down the track around 2001, I had money, me and my old man went and paid this importer relative of ours a visit, and I picked up the white 33 in my avatar. Never looked back! before all that i was right into the classics, muscle cars and V8s. i still love it all, but the japanese force inducted inline 6's just won me over bigtime!
  19. 383!!? f*&^! ...he will have a nice time trying to drive that thing in a straight line
  20. they are becoming quite high in value the old torrys arent they! that orange one in the photo looks nice and clean
  21. i know that sound youre talking about Mitch, heard it on many other N/A skylines. ultimate poo. a proper 2.5'' system with extractors, and resinator should have it sounding much better
  22. on my way home on the bus I seen a 4dr 33 cruising up newton rd, bout half an hour ago- had bright xenon coloured headlights, gold d-tek rims, SAU sticker on the front windscreen my guess = Madaz ?
  23. my apologies to Kell & Nene for not showing any interest for the other xmas event- after seeing your event plans shut down, i thought i should make more of an effort to come along these occasions. I frequent this site a lot and have seen that you all go to a lot of effort planning and putting the events together. It's a shame the first one couldn't go ahead. Hopefully this one will work out
  24. I will come down as well. I havent been to almost any planned events due to various reasons & excuses - but being an sau member since late 2004, thats pretty piss weak. If a bbq does go ahead, i'll bring some snags down to share around; i have a mate who is a bloody good butcher, makes some awesome bbq food products
