  1. haha, my teenage nephew used that term when his sister recently bought an S15 - he said the owner was one of the type... made me laugh
  2. I cant believe you are willing to have a chat to him Adz, and he calls you 'an arrogant GTR driver' to your face... I've found over past years that many other skyline owners DR30s/31s/32s/33s/34/35-GTRs/GTS' or whatever have genuinely shown interest as enthusiasts and have been up for a chat - drop their window along side of me and say g'day - nice car, etc - stop along side of skylines at the servo and talk about mods and all sorts. There are so many other skylines on the road today, and 1 in 3 is probably driven by some cream stick wanker- who couldnt give two shits and have any interest whatsoever as an enthusiast. I've seen a few posts in the spotted section where members have said they spotted a nice skyline, given a thumbs up or wave, and are returned with a WTF look on the other drivers face...
  3. You could have said that earlier ya cheeky bugger... Luke_ENR34 has been discussing obtaining splitfires in several threads over the last few weeks... I would've been keen for a set too, although i just installed a set of supersparks an hour ago...
  4. seen a white r33 and white r32 turning off mcintrye onto bridge road and dragging yesterday evening. idiots.

  8. lol, i like that one as well. I shall be having one of those today; piss off early to the richmond and sink some brews with the work crew up on the balcony in the mall. and damn its fine weather for it too! on another note, i hear they are lighting up that Rundle lantern bizzo above Hungry jacks tonight
  9. Awesome snaps! Very nice car you've got there Bakes! love the one of it driving, and the shot in front of the harbour bridge
  10. +1! they are a good kit, i'm quite happy with mine
  11. http://www.superspark.com.au/products.htm
  12. I've got one as well I haven't noticed lag issues at all... After installling the kit, boost has considerably increased. In cold weather my 33 boosts around 11-12psi- and thats with the standard solenoid (no aftermarket boost controller)- dont ask me how... its nice but! overall, response has definitely improved. the kit was quite easy to install. I didnt use all of the brackets, nuts and other bits that came with the kit, i bolted the cooler straight up from its top bracket onto the front centre chassis bracket (that mounts horn, bonnet latch etc.), and from memory- used tech screws to mount the bottom left cooler bracket to part of the lower left vehicle chassis. It sits nice & tight, wont move without some decent force quick snap: sorry bout bad quality - camera phone!
  13. for sure Dan; you ignore just about any price you'd see on the piece of paper hanging in the window of a car at a car yard. jeez i remember the price listed in the window of my white 33 (in my avatar) when i bought it from a yard back in the day... we knocked quite a sum of that price off compared to what i paid
  14. their site says $59,990
  15. I had Brady have a quick look at my 33 a few weeks ago with my exhaust manifold issue. Very nice bloke, was happy to help. Although i received a very overpriced quote. Got charged almost half of that quote elsewhere last week for the same job
  16. those d teks look nice on your car Damo; what other rims you going to fit after you sell em?

  20. Got my car back from Aussie Dyno a little earlier. Very pleased with their work and service Ended up having 3 snapped studs in the exhaust manifold, and 1 of the bolts missing that holds the turbo onto the manifold itself...!
  21. s'only for regency... once they clear ya, put your pop off valve back on
  22. might as well make your own block off plate ay source a small bit of thick sheet metal, trace the bov flange, cut it up to shape, silicone + bolt it on, and block the hose that was connected to the bov
