  1. speaking of painting intercoolers black; i rang up regency to speak with one of the officers about modifications a couple of weeks ago, and he told me aftermarket intercoolers are not an issue/you won't get defected for them... can anyone confirm?
  2. Thats it. If you're a dickhead to them, they'll find something.
  3. you should take em off for painting Chris, end of story. Whatever damage you presume may happen by taking them off is fixable. if your car has factory side skirts, they are most likely held on by clips, a few screws, and a very minimal amount of double sided type adhesive. They are quite easy to remove. If you have aftermarket skirts on, they have probably been slapped on with sikaflex and maybe a few screws that are out of the usual sight of the car - eg in the wheel arches
  4. LOL, bad habits Martin. i did exactly that as well when i lost my license a while back. Weekend partying, boozing, etc etc... i had fun, but it emptied the wallet bigtime! Never mind, you live and learn! when i read the first line: i laughed and said to myself; cops ARSE!!!
  5. that is bloody hilarious. I could keep hitting refresh until 5pm EDIT - LOL, everyone agrees!
  6. it sounds like your engine is idling normally, but its pretty damn loud. My first impression is exhaust leakage. What is it like to drive? My lifters are noisy when i start the car in very cold weather; sounds quite similar to the clip Denis posted. After a couple of minutes of idling the noise disappears
  7. got this one sent to me a couple of weeks ago, made me laugh Shelve eeeemmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm!!!! hahaha
  8. Carried out the work today and took the 33 for a drive; no more miss! Fantastic! a couple of the coils had scorch marks and even minor plastic melt. definitely time for a new set
  9. this problem has been truly giving me the shits for a long time in the 33. I originally dropped in BCPR7ES sparkys gapped at .8; it slightly solved the problem. You could still feel a bit of loss in power above 4000rpm. After i installed a FMIC, in the cold weather shes boosting around 12psi, and the missfiring is a hell of a lot worse. i'm going to try this coil pack taping over the weekend and post the results... If i can truly nail it down as the coil packs being the problem, next investment for the car = splitfires
  10. looks very custom 1-of-a-kind ish
  11. Items: R33 L/H (passenger side) inner plastic guard surround to suit s1 type M front (black plastic that sits tucked in to the front bar), located in front of the front left wheel. shoot me a PM if you have 1 to get rid of! Cheers L
  12. i agree! that launch from the stig was bloody average as...
  13. top gears segment on the R35 GTR What a great lap time by the Stig also. The car betters the time of many high class supercars... Fantastic!
  14. definitely, seen it a few weeks ago cruising through town. i think even a couple of forum members spotted him recently, and if i recall correctly gave him a wave and got a WTF look in return... lol. He's def not a SAU'er now that yellow GTR above is fkn NICE!!!!!
  15. that yellow 34 GT-T cruising around Adelaide, if i remember correctly, has the plates are 'MR R34'?, actually doesnt look too bad.
  16. looks tough as nails Reuben!
  17. I'd love to fully strip and restore the 33 piece by piece; engine, body, and running gear... Throw in aftermarket & forged goodies, but keep it stealth/factory looking as possible... If only i had the time and patience to begin with! (money aside)
  18. Walked past a nice silver s2 33 gtst parked on gawler pl. Had star corp 5 spoke rims at the rear, nice dish! + stockies on the fronts, GTR wing. Also had a few gifts on the front windscreen; a parking ticket, and a large bird shit.
  19. Spotted a wine red s1 33 on grand junction rd around midday today. Looked standard cosmetic wise, but noticed an fmic hiding behind the type m front bar. Very nice clean example of a 33, compared to some others i've seen around lately. today my mate was also telling me he seen a purple 33 GTR in the Bridgestone tyre centre on North East Rd Modbury yesterday, number plates 'VSPEC', said it had a couple of canarys on the windscreen... Engine sounded quite lumpy apparently
  20. crazy mfs! $800,000 bush bash
  21. got this in an email a coupla months ago: Lambo Reventon notbad...
  22. Spotted that blue R34 GTR again this morning in Newton.... such a nice car! Exhaust note sounded awesome too
  23. thats f**ked. hopefully you can get it off easily
  24. you dont have to tow the car. if you very unluckily happen to get pulled over, you say you're on the way to a repairer unless you out of rego?
