  1. SOLD
  2. wreckers definitely the best bet. You never know, they may separate the items (in attempting to make more money out of two sales)!
  3. The power window problem is definitely that little black relay box. You can pry it open and re solder the dodgy circuitry. This definitely fixes the problem. If you dont have soldering gear and cant fix it yourself, i actually have one for sale (that i have opened up, and fixed) Shoot me a PM if you want it... Don't know about the wipers though; have you tried doing a search?
  4. top stuff! burn notice is a great show, glad its back. That dexter show on sundays aint too bad either
  5. Thats the only thing i cant stand about Nova, the repeated music. Very annoying.
  6. LOL... i dont like many of the popular radio stations full stop, part of that reason being having to listen to shit talking know it all idiots like Amber. Unfortunately, I have to listen to Nova in the mornings (the Fitzy Jules and Lisa show), because the missus likes to get up at the bloody crack of dawn and controls the alarm clock. But those three are bloody hilarious... i actually wake up laughing... they shit stir anyone and everyone.
  7. nice line up, i'll definitely be there! It's good for us to get a festival like this on a Saturday for once, but of course the catch is the AFL grand final is on the same day... Not that i have too much to worry about as a Port supporter... Lookin forward to Metro Area, Jesse Rose, Dizzee, Diplo, AND great to finally see the Plump DJS in Adelaide! Theyve skipped this town every year theyve been down under. If only they came here in 2004 when their sounds were much more appealing to the masses...
  8. Nigel does some quality work there at streamline. He usually does all the pipework and fabricating from scratch from what i've seen, which is probably why youve been quoted that much. I reccomend his work for sure! He actually worked on my corolla exhaust last weekend after somehow mysteriously blowing the rear muffler
  9. I doubt they'd ping you in a stock KE70. In the case of an on the spot inspection with "old bombs", they'll look for the obvious; bald tyres, frayed seat belts, damaged exterior parts, lights out, blown mufflers (loud exhausts), or general rusted arseholes all over the body of the car. And of course there are always the defective aftermarket mods, (which today police are well aware of, and take into account) that majority of "old bombs" dont have... I definitely agree with their intentions though, good on em for targeting older cars, so they should. But i bet the majority of their quota from this super defect blitz wont be old shitboxes. imports, rice burners, commodores and falcons with large bore loud exhausts, giant f*&^ off fmic's, fiberglass & plastic pig aftermarket bodykits, atmo BOVs, electronic interior wankery, low ride height; and of course all of the stuff I mentioned above = Much less hesitation + easier canary slap. -EDIT: Lol, beat me to it Nisskid, youre absolutely right
  10. Good on ya. Does this mean they will regurgitate more graphics on to your car?
  11. yeah! i actually work on grenfell, across from harris scarfes. I'm found downstairs quite regularly going for coffees and smokes... the stress i tell ya...! haha (jk)... more like nothing but bad habits ;D you in town also>? See plenty of great cars going by daily! A hell of a lot of traffic passes through grenfell. This week i've seen a black Ferrari 360 modena, a black blown [57 (i think)] chev with flames airbrushed on the front guards, about 246 porsche 911s, and heaps of nice imports.
  12. just seen 2 GTRs cruise past grenfell st city, at the same time going in the opposite direction from eachother. 1 white R33, standard rims, exhaust. 1 blue R34, standard rims, exhaust. lovely sight i tell you
  13. f*&^% c(*&s. Did they attempt this at your property Reuben?
  14. Good stuff! Glad they caught him. This clown in the 32 4 door was definitely driving it like he stole it, wouldnt surprise me if it was him. But yeah Ben, hopefully its the other from JIS! We'll probably hear soon enough
  15. ^ Was that a silver R32 4 door Reuben? Because if it was, that f&^% head cut me off running through a give way intersection last night around 7:20pm. It was in an industrial area, so I attempted to catch up to him after. At first he was doing a few attempted drifts in the industrials which i didnt give two shits about, but once he cut me off at that intersection, i was fuming. Had to slam on the breaks and locked em up to prevent T boning him... fcker was a bit too quick for the weapon, but i did manage a key banger next to his window as he turned out of the industrials. I followed him, and he was driving like an absolute wanker through backstreets, hanging it sideways, peaking out 1st and second gear. If i see him again, i'll be exchanging words with that twit.
  16. Holy #$*&! I've seen that car parked out front on every occasion that i've visited the JIS shop. Hope he gets it back. Reality is, this theiving shit is just never going to stop... Make that extra bit of effort and secure as much as possible guys!
  17. seen a nice black r32 GTR this morning on Newton Rd. - had plates BNR32
  18. it probably isnt, but; that could just be a dodgy excuse, and hes really letting some theiving c*&^ts strip a stolen car in his back tent and plead ignorance to the chops.
  19. yeah thats true, should be easy to spot! hope she finds it. will keep the eyes peeled.
  20. i used to have plenty of great shots of my cars, but i have no idea where i've stored them bit of a worry... cool photo i took with my phone camera, not so long ago: random front & rear shots... taken recently; front bar could do with a respray...... taken back in 2002... i even had a nismo sticker on the rear windscreen...ha... and the weapon!!!! purchased a couple of weeks ago:
  21. could be this little bugger: http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/R3...l&hl=window
  22. I'm doing this too - whilst getting my d wing installed and whole boot resprayed. Mine didnt get badged, it actually snapped off one day when i went to open the boot up and chuck come groceries in So atm im left with the bare boot lock/keyhole. It looks ugly and unfinished without the swivel badge...
  23. What an absolute scumbag... Fleeing whilst he leaves the others trapped in the wreck... http://www.news.com.au/adelaidenow/story/0...69-2682,00.html
  24. ^ My mate went to see these guys play at Thebbie last Thursday. Said they were bloody awesome live! Me on the other hand, today i was listening to Derrick Carter's MOS Sessions. He's currently here in AUS, playing every We Love Sounds festival except Adelaide - typical! Seen him play a few times, and he never disappoints!
