  1. At last!!!!!!!!! It worked!!!!!!!!!!
  2. No, sorry it's not. For a start, my car is a 4-door, and the wing I wanted was raised above the boor, mounted on 2 supports. Nothing huge or attention-catching, just a nice understated boot-lid spoiler in the same colour as the car (gun-metal grey in my case) with a long thin brake light set into it. PS: If anyone can tell me how to succesfully add an attachment, I'd be grateful.
  3. Bugger!!!!! For the life of me I can't work out how the get this pic to attach! Each time I try to attach it it tells me I've already attached it to this thread. :bs!: Oh well, I'll keep trying.
  4. I'd be keen for one too, if they're available for a reasonable price.
  5. Sorry, I only have the photo in the attachment. I think it's just the standard R33 sedan rear wing (with the built-in brake light). Hope you can help.
  6. I've got a gun-metal grey R33 GTS-t sedan which I reckon looks fantastic. The only part of its appearance that could be improved is the rear. So, I'm wanting to make mine look like the one in the attachment. please PM me if you can help. Cheers
  7. You've answered your own question: you can't afford to buy a turbo. Remember that things WILL go wrong & you'll be left with either huge bills to pay or a busted car sitting on the fron lawn, taunting you like a beautiful girl you can't touch. So, even though it sounds boring, do the sensible thing & buy something cheapish that won't break your bank & your heart. That's my 2 cents worth.
  8. I dunno where the link is, but I went to it months ago & emailed them with a request for details, prices, etc. Never heard a word back from them!
  9. Sky - R33
  10. The reason we don't have more diesels here is because the quality of the fuel sold here is crap. The governmment is slowly changing the rules so that the fuel quality imporoves & that's when BMW, Audi etc plan to start bringing in more of the diesel models they sell so many of overseas. There's also talk of a diesel commodore sometime in the future. Mind you, Peugeot has sold diesels here for years & owners (especially farmers) swear by them. They often run with no trouble for several hundred thousand k's.
  11. I've noticed the same thing with my R33 GTSt. Boost comes on at about 3,000rpm & gradually builds, but then there's a noticeable extra kick at about 5,000 that feels like a second turbo coming on or something. Obviously my car only has one turbo, so I'm buggered if I know what that's all about. My engine has no mods at all & I rarely take it up to 5,ooo revs, but jeez it's fun when I do!
  12. There is some wise advice in this thread. Whether you choose to listen to it is up to you. Of course you want a great car like an R34 - you're young & impatient. But the facts are that people make most of their driving mistakes (especially the big, expensive ones) in their first few years of driving. Personally I think driving an older cheaper car for a year or 2 while you get an insurance history is a good idea. No-one here can stop you buying & driving whatever you choose. Some of just just don't like to see other people making the same mistakes that we might have made. Good luck with whatever you choose.
  13. And remember: cars don't lose control, drivers do.
  14. I don't want anything too loud or attention-seeking. Just a nice fast good-handling, straight-looking beast.
  15. I may potentially be interested in the white one, as long as the camber hasn't got any more severe since that pic was taken! Is it registered & driveable?
  16. The XR6t or the Forester Gt would be great. Then again, so would a GTS-t or GT-t 4-door. I know you said no imports, but I paid more to insure my Aus delivered Liberty RS turbo wagon than I do for my R33 sedan. ...and I know which one I prefer driving!
  17. Here's an idea for your next thread: GTR v Space Shuttle
  18. It's a Nissan Primera, which is sort of a Mazda 626-sized family car
  19. Sounds like a great car. Just one thing: it's ..... how should I put it ..... yellow!
  20. Hi everyone, sorry for the delay. Just got back yesterday from 2 weeks overseas (brother's wedding in Scotland). It's amazing how much interest has been generated in my absence! Just when I thought no-one was interested..... By the way, I'm having an immobiliser & remote locking fitted (to Shannon's standards) tomorrow. Anyway, I've got your email addresses & will now send you photos. Cheers...Sven
