Nothing stopping you jumping from in the boot, just safer from under the hood. You shouldnt need a new battery. Just be thankful it didnt happen somewhere that its harder to get it started from!, ie: the local post office!

Hey guys Need a favor, my ute has just been painted, and needs a really really good buff. But I only have a crappy orbital buffer. Does anyone here have a real paint buffer I could borrow for the weekend? Im chasing 1 that looks like an angle grinder with a buffing pad attached. The paintjob is ok atm, but looks dull and its really annoying me

worth the risk? i think not!, the cops wouldnt know the difference if you had a gutted cat though!, but the exaust smells like the proverbial without a cat! and does it really make that much difference? So bascially: if the cops see you have no cat (provided they know what they are looking for), you are in the deep end, and I think they can ether yellow you, or report you to the epa. If they see a cat (even hollowerd out), then you should be fine.

attached a pic of my boot. if you fill your existing boot, you will need to use bog, but like tomj said, get glass layered under the bog, to limit the amount you would need. fibreglass needs a skim of bog on it anyway, unless its came out of a gelcoat mould.

you could use fibreglass to fill the boot to a point, then put a few mm of bog on, to fill the rest of it, bog is fairly light, but 20mm of it will make the boot quite heavy Speak to someone like spoilershop? or, you can buy my boot off me, with the 2 boot pods and GT wing, I wanna swap back to a GTR wing...

I need a favor! I know it may be a long shot, exp on a skyline forum. But someone may know someone who has a VS SS commodore ute, with a alloy rollbar, around perth. I need to borrow one for a few hours, to get measurements for the rollbar, happy to pay cash, beer, whatever for the use of the car. Obviously you can stay with it etc, i dont need to drive it anywhere . its just so the pipe bender can match the bends so as to get an exact replica!. So if anyone knows someone, maybe a dero mate or something, let me know!. It would be hugely appreciated.

I guess they must have put a very fine coat over it, grab some cut n polish and see how that goes. Normally adhesive on the sticker is clear... make sure you get stuff thats clearcoat safe, you may need to get some 2000 wet n dry and cut back the clear a bit, then polish it. If you dont feel safe doing this a detailer can do it, but they charge alot.

Are you 100% it has taken the clearcoat off mike? stickers have a tendancy to leave adhesive on the door that looks similar to that, a bit of prepsol would remove it. I doubt they would have clearcoated over the sticker, and if they had, the sticker would have been damn near impossible to remove. I could be wrong, but you should try some prepsol to remove residue, then a nice cut and polish to bring it back up.

if you are putting decals on the side dont bother touching up the scratches. if not, the only real options for deep to the primer/metal scratches, is to respray the panel. Or touch up. Belive it or not repainting a door isnt all that expensive, I got quoted $400 to remove a scrape and respray the whole side of the car with blending. This was 8 months ago when someone hit my car in the carpark. $1200 for the 2 doors and bonnet may be a little rich, more like $700. But im no panel beater

I think you may need to buy a new windscreen isntant windscreens stock em. From memory they are about $220 fitted.

GTR is a safe car to drive, you are just as likely to smear yourself in a gts-t as a gtr. Insurance WILL rape you, and I can guarentee your looking at alot of $$s to insure at that age. Go 3rd Party

yeh for $900 bucks apparently they work, but i donno I bought one from america and bought it over for $70, it worked but not for cameras, only cop cars. Audiocom say theres work for all cameras etc, so yeh, something must be special about theres.
